Does my cat need a key?

My kitteh is a Hemmingway, so he has 7 digits on one front paw, and 6 on the other. He uses them as thumbs, so he can pick the locks without a key. You might confer with your cat manual to see if a key is necessary or not.

Is the flap removable?

I'm glad to know that replacing the flap is possible!  I've had this same cat door for 10 years and the cats finally managed to break one of the corners the original door flap so all I want to do is replace the flap.  Also, for anyone who is interested, my cat door was put into my garage door (because that's the only way to get in and out of the garage.....there is no side door), and I've had absolutely no issues with it being an 'outside' door.  The cats have their 'cat condos' set up inside the garage for safety/cover from inclimate weather and also their freedom to go outside and wander.  It's been a perfect arrangement for a decade now and the frame of this cat door is as sturdy now as it was when it was installed!  Just be prepared to replace the flap if the cat wants to attempt to bring a 'prize rabbit' through the door and it causes the flap to break off    ;-)

I want to use this on an interior wall.  Is http://www.amazon.com/Cat-Mate-303-Wall-Liner/dp/B001A3PZ2O/ref=pd_sim_petsupplies_3 compatible with it?

You're probably better off just using this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000793L14/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and adding an extra liner (as you linked to) to make it 'thick' enough for a wall.

What are the dimensions?  height? width?

Well, there are two different answers here so it's apparently not that simple. There is a picture that shows the width but no height. The dimensions in the description are sometimes the package dimensions, not the actual product. It seems like I'll be skipping this one anyway from some of the other reviews but don't assume we didn't look for dimensions. Sometimes it pays to ask.
