Perfect for the job and then some!
We put that thing to good use...hauling all the junk and construction debris from a 3 story job where the dumpster was just about 15 feet away. Let me tell you it worked like a charm. We chucked all sorts of drywall and studs down that chute. It held up strong no ripping or tearing. Saved us a ton of time and sore legs from climbing those dang stairs all day. It is still in great shape for our next project to. It is easy to fold up and stash away. I've tried other chutes in the past and they couldn't handle the strain. This one is thicker and built better than the rest we have tried. Definitely a tougher brand. The straps are also better designed and dont rip off like the other one.

Prope tool for the proper job!
I used the Hero chute on one of my master bathroom demolition jobs. I rigged the chute to a second-floor window and anchored it to a dumpster positioned in the driveway. I inserted a cut-out trash can in the top of the chute to help protect the material where the weight of the debris contacts the chute when dumping buckets. All the debris traveled through the chute with no problem, to include all the ceramic tile. By the end of the job, the chute had a few knicks and tears. However, I was successful in using the chute on a second demolition job. I threw it away after 2 jobs. In my opinion, completely worth it. I already bought another chute and will continue to use this product.

Nitro Heros in France!!
Hero Chute is absolutely AMAZEBALLS!!!We brought them to France where we are renovating an 1800 modest château — Our French workers LOVED them!!!!Started with the first floor, then added on another shoot for the second floor… Then add on another shoot for the third floor…!Truly our hero! Or as they say in French“Notre héros !“

Great product with a great price
Got this for a remodeling project and it worked perfectly. It's easy to use and held up against plaster, wood, and sharp debris with no rips. This thing is super well made! It's thicker than the last one I ordered from another company and way more affordable. I'll be recommending it to everyone I know who has a big project.

They work well and save time.
They work very well, attached to an extension ladder to reach the 3rd floor with the top and into a dump trailer below. Save a lot of time and stairway running. Worked best for drywall and ceramic tile, nothing more than 15 inches wide works best.

This item sucks because when I found a better product and sending this one back for a refunn has been a nightmare.

Good for a day or two
Demolition of two 3rd floor apartments which was approximately 20 feet high. All plaster and lath. Two 10 footers spliced together lasted a day but non stop 10 hrs of dumping plaster down them, not the lath. Went through 4 of them but they got me through the job. Probably perfect for small homeowner job. Overall easy set up and take down compared to building a chute from scratch.

Looks like I am switching to Hero Chute
A friend of mine turned me onto construction chutes a couple years ago and I have been using them regularly for my business when working on any multi level homes. I use them to clear out trash and construction debris. It not only saves me time and energy (which results in more $$), but from liability as well especially when working in the city. I like how easy they are to pack and reuse. My only complaint on these was the longevity. I will admit that we throw EVERYTHING in the chute so, it’s probably my fault they don’t last as long as they could.I was using another company on Amazon previously, but figured I would give hero chute a try. I knew I was switching as soon as I opened up the chute:1. Material. The thickness of the chute was impressive in comparison to even their double walled version.2. Construction. The seems are lengthwise instead of horizontal. This will help greatly with longevity as I would often see failures at the seems with the other brand.3. Improved Straps. My next failure spot was at the straps. They were almost always the first to go. Hero chute has improved on the straps as well as they are sewn into the seams down the spine of the chute.4. Coating. There’s also a smooth coating on the inside which will help with dirt, drywall and sawdust.5. Price. It’s a better constructed product for less money and if it lasts as long as my previous chutes it’s saving me money.
