Roblox is my 10 year-old's favorite game. It's age appropriate and spurs on creativity, so we play it together and enjoy building our worlds. It's become quite the bonding experience, but as he learns more about the game, the more questions he has for me. This book has become an invaluable guide, written simply enough for a 10-year old to pull information out of it, but retains a sense of intuitiveness that helps me tackle some of the more in-depth aspects of the game. If your child (or you) plays this game, this book is a must have.

Like any popular video game, a lot of books are being written about Roblox. This one is the best. Period.The guides and images are so helpful that even young kids can learn a ton in just a couple of minutes. Other books about this game seem rushed and poorly written. But this author clearly put in effort and cared about the final product. This is a must buy if you really want to help your kids get the most out of their Roblox experience.

The book is fine as a basic introduction. There's no deep dives into script writing in Roblox. As a developer myself, I wanted something that I could get use out of and so would my son. Since the TOC had a chapter called "Advanced Scripting," I thought this would cover my needs.What I expected was something like an SDK walkthrough - some tutorials and deep dives into the various methods/functions avail. in the Roblox SDK. Sadly... the "advanced" section is what would be called a beginners guide to programming. "This is a loop...." etc. Again, great for a younger audience. I'd prob. buy this for my 7 year old son.A lot of basic usefulness... but no deep dives.

this book was great. it was fun to read. it was quick. it was fairly thorough and the tips were great. overall it was a very fun and resource-rich read.

My son seemed to like the book. Personally I don't understand anything about gaming but my son, who is 13 now, has even been showing me some of the things he's creating on Roblox.

We got an immensely broad smile from our granddaughter when she opened her gift and saw this book. She loves playing Roblox, and this book is the perfect companion to the game, and a great way to balance screen time with print time, too. Her 10 y/o sister loves the book as well, and I just bet the DAD sneak-reads it after they go to bed! A great value. Very happy with this purchase.

My son LOVES the content of this book, and it has been very helpful info for learning all about Roblox. He got his first copy at Christmas and the pages started just falling out. The binding used so little glue it just self destructed. The publisher replaced it, and sure enough the replacement is falling apart. Bad construction by the book maker, but excellent writing by the author.

Great book. The book is a great starter guide for beginners in roblox (aka NOOBS). The book needs to be updated as ROBLOX is making a lot of changes (ex. BC is now Premium).

My kids are super excited to get this and attempt to start creating their own experiences.Some of the directions are different as the Roblox Studio has changed since its publication but the general idea of the functions are described in a simple to understand manner which we can cross reference with the online help.For example we were looking for the animation editor under plug-ins but it moved to another menu. We simply looked it up in Roblox Studio help and found where it was.So now when we have non-screen time, its a go to book.

The title "Ultimate" of this Book is a bit exaggerated. This is really ideal for Beginners or no knowledge at all of Roblox. I felt robbed buying this, I've got better explanation in YouTube.

My smart 10 year old son says this is the best book about Roblox. It covers all the bases and gets quite advanced, including scripting etc, that some other Roblox books don't. This book covers the things my son needs to build proper games.If you just want a basic intro to Roblox (i.e. more focused on playing Roblox rather than creating games), consider 'Master Builder Roblox the Essential Guide' by Triumph Books. That is a larger format book, with a very good looking layout, but my son likes it less because it only covers the basics.If you want a book that covers beginning right through to advanced, this book - The Ultimate Roblox Book - is the one to get.

I did not expect this book to have as many pages nor such details. This was a gift for my 11 year old granddaughter and she was thrilled. She plays the game and was thrilled at how much information this guide provided. Her 8 year old sister was just as excited to read it. This book is a must for those who play the game.

Very colourful and just what my nephew will want I have sent it off to him I can't wait for him to receive it he will love it
