The velcro does not go around thicker legged items. I think the manufacturer could make the velcro longer to use for gazebos and such. I had to buy more velcro to make straps to hold them onto my gazebo legs. A big juice bottle fits inside the bag well, which is nice to avoid rocks or sand spilling out or getting wet and moldy. So far, so good. They have faded pretty quickly, but they seem to be holding up through our weather.

Works really well and easy to get the sand in. Just wish it wasn’t velcro and zipped because the sand spills out easily once dropped.

The only reason that these get any stars is because they worked for 1.5 events. When I went to put one on at the second event, the velcro strap tore right off with no effort at all and then the bag leaked sand until it was below that mark. Then when I went to take them off of the legs of the tent, another one ripped along the seam, rendering two useless since every time you try to move them, they pour sand all over the place. Put the money towards another purchase because these are NOT well made to last. Not worth the money.

These canopy weights do the job and add plenty of weight to keep the canopy stable. They’re easy to fill, and once they’re full, they stay in place well. The only downside is that the material seems like it could be a little more durable. I noticed they can tear fairly easily if you’re not careful while filling or moving them around. I ended up putting a heavy-duty bag inside each one before filling them, and that worked really well to help prevent leaks and add a little extra protection. Overall, they’re a good value and work as intended, but I’d recommend using an inner bag if you plan on using them often or moving them around a lot.

Well worth it. my only wish would be if there were some kind of plastic bag liner inside the sandbag for the sand, but otherwise they’re great.

Velcro tabs have ripped off after multiple uses, which also ripped the side seam open. I have since re-sewn the seams and then bagged the sand before refilling.

Perfect to hold the canopy on very windy days.
