This works well. I hang my keys on a belt loop on my pants with a carbiner so I don't lose them and have quick access. I've done it for 20+years, and it works for me, but invariably, the belt loops on my pants get frayed. I was looking for a solution for this. The metal seems strong, and the spring nature of it isn't easily dissuaded. The size is a bit big, but it is also a big area for me to hook my carbiner on without much effort. The problem I have is the length. It extends both above and below my belt. The below portion is almost in pocket territory, and I worry I might crack my phone's screen while sitting down. The upper part comes up enough to rub my stomach a little while sitting and the edges of this thing are a tad rough. I filed them down, and that did help. All in all, I'm gonna keep using it. YMMV.
