Is this fair trade certified?

Yes! We're proud to say that Modern Mountain Black Cocoa Powder is now Fair Trade Certified by Fair Trade USA, helping bakers to be certain they're purchasing Black Cocoa Powder that's based on a supply chain that empowers people and protects our planet.

Does it leave a funny smell? Or does it just smell like chocolate?

Here is what a couple of bakers had to say about the aroma of Modern Mountain Black Cocoa Powder in their reviews: "Best cocoa powder ever! You can smell the delicious chocolate as soon as you open the bag! Will purchase again!!" "Great black cocoa powder. Smells heavenly." "Definitely has a darker chocolate smell and flavor"

Is this a higher percentage of cocoa like in chocolate bars? What is percentage?

I believe it is 100% cocoa powder. The difference with this one, besides being very dark, is that it makes things taste like Oreos.
