This lego lamp is very cute. The lights actually work. It came with colored flashing lights which I thought was odd but not a big deal, we just bought some fairy lights. My daughter loved it and built it all in 1 night

My nephew loved this! He loves everything vintage and this was a perfect gift for him.

I highly recommend making the Table Lamp (Kit # 00398) especially if you like a challenge and a little antique style in your home. The Table Lamp is very beautiful and looks “Tiffany like”. The lights have 3 settings, strobe, flashing, and steady. It was slightly complicated to put together and some instruction pages were duplicated. The kit has 804 pieces; some pieces are very small, and it took me about 4 days to finish. Unfortunately, I did have to take the lamp apart several times to correct the stability and eventually used a leftover piece from another kit. The directions can be confusing and at times hard to follow and I did improvise during the construction. The lampshade was the most difficult. The decorative scrolls were not able to be placed upright, they kept going crooked, so I inverted them on the lamp. I had to glue the decorative tassels because one kept falling apart. For personal reasons I choose not to add the label. I suggest if you’re going to use the included light; you use the yellow support section on the shade and weave/wrap the wire around the ring utilizing the yellow square pieces you attach to the shade to hold the lights in place. Make sure to keep the on/off switch loose for easy access. I did shorten the brown ring section on the top of the lampshade by one notch and it held together much better. This was a challenging project, I would have given it 5 stars, but I’m dropping it to 4 stars because of the instructions and having to add my own pieces for stability. I hope my review helps you. Very cute, easy build. Put it together at the hospital and received a lot of compliments on how cute it looked.

Thought this building kit was very cute and original. However, the construction and materials are low quality. In building this toy, I discovered missing pieces and poor instructions. Was very disappointed in the how long it took to finish building and the end result was not good. The design is not stable or sturdy and, if you are not careful, some of the block pieces will pop off whenever you try to adjust, move or fix the toy.
