Excellent 3D puzzle with a beautiful finished product. Many of the leg joints do not fit well - too loose - causing it to be floppy and unable to stand when complete. I ended up taking the legs apart and using small pliers to squeeze the ends together slightly to ensure a snug fit. See photo, tighten all this type of joint end as you go. It now stands perfectly. Also, the nuts do not stay tightened very well, so I followed a tip from another reviewer and put a dab of finger nail polish on the tip to hold them fast. I gave it 5 stars because it is doable, and is so pretty when finished, but it is a challenge, to be sure.

Slightly on the expensive side perhaps 🤔 But nevertheless very complex and well made and well beyond my expectations. I have no problems with highly recommending this product🙂👍

This is a very complex model and provides hours of fun, a couple of things that I might add to help a future builder is; have a set of reverse tweezers, a couple very small drops of superglue and a micro screw starter. Items will come in very handy.

This was a extremely fun and challenging built and the final completed model looks great. No problem in assembly and the instructions were clear and well illustrated. A wonderful looking model of a wasp, well worth the money and time invested to completing it

Several shortcomings during the build process. Since this item is fulfilled by Amazon, you can't contact the manufacturer, but have to deal with a bot for any issues. The manufacturer is based in China so you're pretty much on your own for any build issues or you just return it. 1st issues was when building the head. The antenna base is supposed to be attached to small gold knurled nuts. One fits the other one's thread size is too small so you need to super glue the antenna in place. 2nd issue was when building the abdomen the instructions state to use these spacers between the sections of the abdomen but if you do then the screw hole that you have to use to hold this section together is covered up, so you have leave a spacer out. 4 are called for but I used 3 and everything fit perfectly. 3rd issue was when I was assembling the final product, because you build it in sections and the put it together. There is an area that the instructions stated to use an M2x3mm screw to attach a gold plate but a 3mm is to short & a 5mm is too long. Both are provided in this kit. What is needed is a 4mm screw that fit perfectly but was not provided so I had to order it from Amazon. Another expense to build this. Overall the build came out great but keep in mind the issues I outlined in this review.

It says that it’s for ages 8+, I don’t see too many 8 year olds being able to do this. There’s many small parts and hard to keep track of. I’ve been doing models for years and I found it very challenging and a lot of fun. If you don’t have a lot of patience, know how to read blueprints and have the right tools you probably won’t like this. If I didn’t have a series of clamps and vices I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much, it definitely takes more than two hands. Overall, for experienced hobbyists it’s a great product, just challenging enough and the right amount of time to assemble. I highly recommend for anyone experienced and looking for a challenge.

Love the puzzle, and the quality of the all-metal design. It was a lot of fun and was a decent enough difficulty to keep me busy. It’s heavy, and a decent size for my office as decor. Would be a great gift for anyone that likes puzzles. I would have given a full 5 stars if the joints in the legs were a bit better, as they were too loose and would not lock. So it looks squatty when put down.

This model was ready to go, everything including the tools were there. It is an amazing model and looks superb. Can't wait to finish it.

You have to be very precise with the assembly but the end result is a beautiful model Wasp that really becomes a coffee table piece or a display cabinet model to be admired and not played with. About 10 hours of assembly time, a steady hand and good bright desk lamp would help.
