Small children in our family having fun with this
I keep toys at my house to have on hand for when our grandchildren visit. I like this educational toy for the toddlers and sub-preschoolers because it helps build character recognition and reading skills. They enjoy the puzzle aspect of playing with this as well. This can also be used to build some words and some early math counting and math skills. The pieces are easy for the children to handle.The pieces appear quite sturdy and durable, so when they all get older and move beyond this, I anticipate being able to pass this on to other family or friends in a few years.

Learning made fun
These wooden learning puzzles are for ages 3 and above. Due to the size and thin pieces, I would not recommend them for babies or toddlers.They have nice sized handles for children to grab and every child i know loves the clackety clack sound of wooden pieces being fit into their proper slot.
