Good SSD replacement for a failing external HDD, which I need for backups from my computer. Easy to set up, format and it is doing the job.

Perfect. Though its upsetting how much these have gone up in price recently. I guess there's only one man to blame though.

Decent product overall, but I've experienced occasional connection issues. It works fine most of the time, but it can be frustrating when it drops out unexpectedly. Still, it gets the job done when it’s working.

Blimey, it's a long time since I bought any type of hard drive but when the package arrived I thought the actual product must have dropped out or I'd been sent an empty box. It was there though and this thing is tiny and light, can't believe it's 1TB, I was expecting something at least the size and weight of a 25000mah powerbank. So far I've backed up pics and music to it which it seems to do very fast. Only problem will be not mislaying it due to its small size and weight. Impressive.

Unreliable and Failed Prematurely - Avoid! "I purchased this SanDisk SSD specifically to transfer data between my college Mac and my personal Windows laptop. Initially, it worked fine, but after just three months of light use, it completely failed to connect to my Mac. Bafflingly, it would still connect to a Windows machine, but became extremely slow and unreliable, making data transfer impossible. I tried to format it multiple times, but even that failed. All my efforts to recover data or make it usable again were fruitless. This drive proved to be incredibly unreliable and a complete waste of money. Do not recommend for anyone needing consistent performance or cross-platform compatibility."
