Got a lot of compliments on these. These, out of the package, are lacking appearance wise but I added makeup to my feet to make them look better. Originally had red pain on nails but I painted over with acrylic paint. Contoured using eyeshadows and bronzer. I also used a glue gun to glue some hair for my hobbit (bilbo) cosplay but it came off after I wore them and move around a little so it you plan to do this, use other adhesive like E6000!!Really comfortable to wear but if you wear shoes, be sure you glue them in place. Mine kept slipping out and I eventually had to take my shoes of to wear these and my feet immediately got sweaty.First picture was the day before I wore them, second picture was the day of wore them, and third picture is when I first put some makeup on them. I am so disappointed!! I ordered a pair with the painted nails. What I received is a very plain, anemic, unfinished look of slippers - no nail polish. When I come back and look at reviews it seems this is a common complaint. This needs corrected.

Husband and I got these for Halloween. At first I had a thin pair of slippers inside of these thinking I needed the extra cushioning, because they kept slipping off, I just wore these feet - they worked fine. Would I maybe glue an insole in? Yea, but otherwise they worked fine for a 50° F somewhat rainy Halloween night in NYC.

They are not as thick at I hoped that they would be and the toes are not painted like portrayed in the picture.
