Product looks more expensive than it actually is. Very sturdy. I am happy with this purchase. I would highly recommend if someone’s looking for a shelf that is durable and pleasing to the eye.

If you've ever walked into a dorm room and thought, "WHERE exactly are we supposed to put all her stuff?"... this shelf is your friend. Dorm rooms give you approximately four walls, one desk and the square footage of a generous walk-in closet. We needed storage, but after working this hard on our daughter's Georgetown-meets-Ralph-Lauren-meets-Ivy-League-meets-Nantucket situation, I was NOT putting a giant plastic shelving unit in the middle of it. Enter this little ladder shelf. It's tall and skinny—which is basically the DREAM in a dorm. It takes up very little floor space but gives her multiple shelves for books, pictures, flowers, perfume and all those tiny decorative things that apparently require their own real estate. And the white and gold? SO CUTE. Once we styled it, I actually forgot we bought it because we needed storage. It just looks like part of the room. Mom to mom: this is one of my favorite dorm purchases. It gave us function without sacrificing the look, and in a tiny room, that is GOLD. Literally. If you're trying to make a dorm feel more like a little apartment and less like institutional housing, THIS is how you use that awkward vertical space. Five stars. Would absolutely play dorm-room Tetris with this shelf again.

I was in the market to purchase a shelf and after reading reviews settled on this brand. I like the look of the shelf system and from what I read, the shelf is quite sturdy. I was very pleased with it after it arrived and I assembled it. The reviews were correct in that it is quite sturdy. I also like the faux wood shelving, You can tell it is fake, however, it looks better than most in my opinion. I was able to place a lot of books on the shelf. There are two things to be aware of that I noticed. First, if you place heavy books on any shelf, it did appear to sag a little in the middle of the shelf. Not too bad to return it, but over time, this could become an issue. The other thing to be aware of is that you may not get all of the correct pieces in the packaging. There are two bars that are included that you need to install on the back of the shelf for added support. I was able to install one of the two, but the second one was too short and would not reach both sides of the shelf so I had to leave it off. Overall, this is a good purchase for the money.

very cute and easy to build. I like how it is easy to clean compared to a regular shelf. The metal sides are a bit wobbly but doesn't affect the ability to stand very much so that's fine with me and it isn't as noticeable.

The color is not gold it's off brown & it did not come with the hangers shown in the picture. Also it's not steady on the ground

Loved this corner stand! The white and gold finish looks very elegant and instantly upgraded my space. It’s lightweight yet sturdy enough to hold decor items like plants, books, and small showpieces. Perfect for small corners. Assembly was easy too. Definitely worth it for the price!
