Great strings and sound great

Good strings preform just as good as the more well known expensive guitar strings

Great strings for any player. I found them good to play, durable and slick to the touch. They have a good resonance and tone and these are the strings I use for both my electric and acoustic guitars. Nice shiny jangle on the high range and good in depth on the bass strings on acoustic and electric.

Good quality strings at a decent price. Cheap enough to get a pack and try them I have and so far they have given good service. Granted I don’t play the Albert Hal or Shea stadium . However the strings do not know this.

I moved on to these having spent years playing with Ernie Balls, XLs, etc., all the usual culprits. I ordered three sets and tried them in standard tuning on a great sounding stock Ibanez S470 made in the 90's, a Michael Kelly patriot series fitted with Gemini pickups and a home made guitar fitted with Joe Barden p90's. All three guitars "sing" most of the time. I really wanted these strings to be "the ones" but unfortunately I just didn't get on with them. Right from the get go they had what I can only describe as a "spongy" feeling. They also felt like they had been coated with something (I don't think they were). After stretching them in well they sounded dull and lifeless on all three guitars both acoustically but much more amplified. The tensions also seemed mismatched - the D seemed loose and the A seemed tight. My tremolo refused to stay in tune and the strings seemed to relax and tighten of their own accord with meant the Floyd Rose especially being out of tune. It was also noticeable on the other fixed bridge guitars. Many times I found that all the strings were sharp at the start of a session. Unfortunately these strings are not for me so the search goes on!
