Postpartum essential!!
The 5 star reviews on this product are spot on! I’m so glad I read them and ordered the 2 pack. This is my 3rd postpartum and nursing journey and these are super helpful for collecting my letdown and relieving engorgement. I can easily catch 1 ounce just leaking into it or 3 ounces with the suction. And that’s just enough to relieve the engorgement. I really appreciate the gentle suction because Haaka suction is too much! So read the other five star reviews and order the two pack!!

My New Favorite Letdown Lifesaver
Okay, fellow breastfeeding parents, let me introduce you to what has quickly become an absolute essential in my feeding routine: the **BOON Trove milk catchers**. These little wonders are a total game-changer for catching that precious letdown from the opposite breast while I'm feeding, and they do it with a brilliance that surpasses all competitors.Seriously, if you've ever battled with those other, more traditional milk catchers that cling on for dear life (until your baby's rogue foot inevitably kicks them off, sending a cascade of liquid gold across your lap and the sofa), then you *need* the BOON Trove. The design is genius – it sits securely and comfortably, truly suctioning on in a way that makes it virtually kick-proof. I no longer live in fear of the dreaded "milk explosion" mid-feed, and my laundry pile has drastically shrunk! They're incredibly effective at collecting every drop of letdown, making sure none of that liquid gold goes to waste. Easy to use, easy to clean, and most importantly, utterly reliable. The BOON Trove has eliminated so much feeding-time frustration and has genuinely helped me build my freezer stash effortlessly. Highly, highly recommend!

A must for breastfeeding moms!
I really like the boon trove. Before I got it, I was using the manual haaka hand pump to collect milk from the other side. It was kind of painful sometimes, would fall off and didn’t do as good of a job as this does. I love that the boon trove can fit inside my bra, I don’t have to hold it and it doesn’t get in the way while I’m nursing. Sometimes my baby doesn’t eat on both sides so this is nice to release some of the milk without having to use an electric pump. I’ve built up my frozen milk stash from letdowns using only the boon trove! Pain free and super convenient. Would recommend to all breastfeeding moms.

Great Milk Collector
I love these Boone Troves. Apart from my spectra pump this was the first breast pump that I bought myself and I’m glad I did. when I latch my baby onto one side I suction the Boone trove onto the other breast and it collects about 2 ounces of milk that I would’ve lost into my bra so this is amazing to own as a breast-feeding mom amazing to own as a pumping mom the boon trove is overall just perfect and the fact that it has stopper/covers is so amazing because I can just put it straight into the fridge and then put my milk in a bottle later if I’m feeling lazy. in the suction on these helps with your letdown it helps collect more if you don’t feel like pumping you can just put these on with the suction and you’ll get your amount of milk that you usually get or at least I do so I think that that’s pretty amazing.

Not discreet - but work
Well made product - but in no way discreet. They are approximately 3 inches thick and 5 inches wide. They are made of a durable silicone, easy to pour if you squeeze them in half-ish, and easy enough to clean. I bought 2 and let 1 float around the house to use on the other side well I breastfeed and keep one in my diaper bag for the times I'm out and about for collecting when I'm manually pumpingI have never seen them fill up and wouldn't let them either because it would most likely make a mess when removingIf you apply correctly and give a gentle suction, then place inside your nursing bra - you will get on average 1oz while nursing (2 or so of you are engorged. I have collected 3oz occasionally when engorged.) It is definitely a passive way to collect milk casually - BUT - you must keep in mind that what your collecting most times is foremilk- no hindmilk. Which is a big difference for feeding. Foremilk is much thinner and keeps baby hydrated but not full, so casually collecting this for a full-feed isn't really a great idea. I would suggest adding what you collect to an already pumped session so there is hindmilk as well. (And don't forget the rule of adding fresh milk to fresh milk and cold milk to cold milk for those who are unaware. You cannot mix the 2)So, a good purchase with minimal issues. All in all, I recommend getting them for using at certain times and not necessarily for hours on end. I do not find them comfortable at all - I am a large chested woman in general but even with a smaller chest they are not a soft product

Ditch The Breast Pads and Try This!
I really, really like these manual breast pumps! I'm able to pop them in my bra when I feel my breasts are too full and it catches any letdown I would have lost to a breast pad. I wore them to the grocery store today as just inserts Incase I leaked and didn't even use the suction. They sit well in my pumping bra. I'm able to save about 1oz because of these. If you're a breast feeding/exclusively pumping mom and wanna build a freezer stash or save as much of your supply as possible, I'd definitely give these a try! They're easy to clean, all you gotta do is rinse them with soap and water. I was worried about how hard it would be to transfer milk from them into a bottle and that hasn't been an issue. The cup bends at the top into a spout shape which makes pouring mess free. The suction is not too painful nor too weak and removal is simple, just gently press in. This is definitely a product I would purchase again and so far I haven't found any downsides to this manual pump. Super convenient, discreet, and a great alternative to my Haaka which I'm super paranoid about popping off and doesn't hide in a bra.

May cause inflammation or bruising
I had high hopes with the “active” collecting and wearability of these cups. The suction stings and started to bruise after a test run for 20 minutes. HOWEVER. If you’re looking for a higher volume collection cup WITHOUT suction, these fit well in a nursing bra. I could see this being useful for someone who leaks a lot of milk and wants a semi-discreet way to collect. I wouldn’t recommend using the suction because it may cause inflammation or bruising (especially if you bruise easy like me). For context I use a 17mm flange when pumping, so it’s possible my anatomy doesn’t fit this cup well.

Thanks to my Boons I have more milk than I know what to do with!
Update: these worked amazingly for me for the first couple months, but I stopped using them around 8 weeks and now that my milk supply has regulated, they hardly catch any milk, no matter how engorged I am or how much suction I use. It’s a great way to build up a freezer stash and prevent a ton of milk from getting wasted in those early weeks, but they’re not a substitute for a pump if you need long term milk collection. At least not for my body.Original review: I have a couple Haakaas that I tried using my first few weeks breastfeeding, but my baby sometimes kicked them off and it was stressful worrying about spilling milk everywhere. I also had a hard time getting them to suction on securely without the suction becoming painful. I stopped using them, but then I was soaking through a breast pad with every feeding and wasting a ton of milk.I read reviews for a lot of products similar to this one, but the Boom seemed to have the best design and the best reviews so I decided to give them a shot. Funny enough, my lactation consultant recommended them to me out of the blue the day after I ordered them. These have completely changed my breastfeeding experience! I haven’t needed to use my electric pump a single time since I started using the Boons. If I use them every time I nurse on the opposite breast, I collect about two whole bottles of extra milk in 24 hours. This is more than enough to let my husband take a couple feedings with the bottle and to create a freezer stash. Now my biggest problem is figuring out what to do with all the extra milk!Another great use is preventing engorgement. If my baby isn’t hungry and my breasts are full, I can put these on and get a couple ounces on each side, just enough to relieve the pressure without draining my breasts completely. That way I still have plenty of milk whenever baby is ready to nurse. They stay on in my nursing bras really well. I need to increase the suction periodically as they fill with milk, but it's so easy to do just by pushing on the front through my bra. They are comfortable and convenient enough that I forget I'm wearing them. Just be careful not to spill then if you sit them down.

Comfy
These are comfy but effective. Tried the Haaka and wanted to cry but I don't really notice these and you can just slot them into your bra, wish I'd bought them sooner

Excelente producto
No duden en comprarlo, le ha servido mucho a mi esposa, ya que no solo recolecta lo que cae si no que hace succión pasiva y no se desperdicia nada de leche

So helpful
Love these, so much better than the ones that don’t sit in your bra. Can either gently suction out the milk or just passively collect. So comfortable and great that they come with a little plug so no spilling!

Must have for the first few months of postpartum
Great tool for early stages of postpartum. You can save a good amount of milk by just collecting the letdown while you are breastfeeding on the other side.
