I bought the Alpha Royal Series as I already have the Japanese version of these knives and have used them for about a year (they are still super sharp and a pleasure to use) and my mother had been going on about how excellent they were, so I thought I'd buy them as a gift. I was however curious to know if there was any difference in quality between to two different sets so decided to use them before I gave them to my mother. The range of photographs attached show the variety of foods that was prepared using the set.Firstly, the Knives arrived in quality packaging. I was particularly impressed, once opened, with the pouch that the knives were in, the pouch is a great addition as it now gives you the option of storing the knives in a draw if you are unable to have them on show, they also provide good protection to the blades.The knives themselves are super sharp and you need to be extra careful when you first use them and remove them from the pouch. I cut my finger despite expecting them to be this sharp from prior experience with the Japanese versions!The knives look very classy both individually and as a set and would look great in any type of kitchen. They are very well balanced and easy to use and don't feel overly heavy in the hand. They sliced through whatever food was being prepared with ease and all done their jobs with extreme ease.These are on a par with Zelites previous range as they continue to produce outstanding quality knives whether for the occasional chef or the more hard-core ones. Either way they are a definite plus for any kitchen and I can't recommend them highly enough. Now the big question for me….. "Do I keep these and give mother my Japanese ones"!! I don't think I would notice the difference either way!!

Bought three of these together. The 10" Chef knife and the 6" and 4". I've used a lot of knives over the years, Gustav, Sabatier, Global to name a few. These leave them all standing in the dust!! They are incredibly sharp, very comfortable to grip and beautifully presented (mine still live in the boxes!)Would absolutely recommend to anyone who want s a good set of knives!

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful Knives. I had deliberated for some time about buying these. They were a little expensive for my budget (even with the Amazon discount) but they are so worth it. The presentation is wonderful, so much so that I still put them back in their boxes after use. Each comes with a well made leather sheaf and as you remove the knife from it's sheaf you immediately know you've made the right decision. Perfectly weighted and balanced and as sharp as a razor. They cut through raw meat and you need to only apply the slightest of pressure and it is a complete joy. Please remember to respect these knives when using and washing them as I've said they are incredibly sharp. I learned the hard way LOLI bought the 6 inch and 10 together and then bought the 4 inch.Simply put I love them

Thank you.Short of a decent carving knife in my kit, I found this Zelite 10" Chef's Knifeon line and researching the grade of steel gave me a good quality product at an affordable price.The knife is beautifully boxed and is a real beast ! Good weight and comfortable to hold. I first used it on the remnants of a day-old joint of topside and it sliced well. Very sharp ! So use with extreme caution !! Love it !

Excellent knife. I have been a chef for 40 years now and have used every leading brand on the market (sabatier, global etc) this surpassed my expectations in every way.Nice in the hand, excellent cutting edge, very well presented in a presentation box so all in all I cannot fault it and I received I nice email from the company inquiring if I had received it which was a really nice touch. I recently started on a ketogenic diet, which requires a lot of food preparation of the most basic ingredients, so I thought I would purchase some quality knives.I did a bit of research on the internet and these were recommended, I was not disappointed, each knife came boxed with a leather pouch and they are very sharp, making cutting/slicing so easy.If you take your baking seriously, then spend some money on these knives.

I took a punt on this and have been very pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable to use and has a good edge that holds its sharpness well.

What a difference a good knife makes especially at this time of year with Turkey/Goose and Gammon joint to carve and twenty people waiting to be served. Bought this product in the hope that it would make life easier and it did not disappoint. All our guests were very impressed with its presentation and performance - hope it will give many years service. Well worth the money.
