Woah. This stuff is powerful.I've recently gone cruelty free in all things, which means my favorite aerosol dry shampoos are no longer an option. I've never used a powder before and I assume all responsibility for my first uses of this product, which I'll get into, but I'm never going back to the other dry shampoos even if they do become cruelty free.For one thing, this shampoo has very little fragrance but the fragrance it does have is divine. There is absolutely no chemical smell whatsoever -- which can never be said for the cans. Also, at only one ounce it's already lasted twice as long as the others (I've had it about 5-6 weeks) and I'm not even halfway through it. You need such a tiny amount of this product and the application is beautifully precise, without the expense of most of the product dispensing all over the bathroom. I was worried at first about its efficacy but that turned out to be absolutely ridiculous.Where I had my issue was due to inexperience. I thought that because I always needed so much from the cans I would need a lot from the powder. Nope. The first time I used it I used way way too much and it worked so well I had to wash my hair because my scalp was so dry it was itching like crazy, and it had worked itself so well down the hair shaft I couldn't get a brush through it.Once this powder is in your hair, it keeps working long after application. And working. The second time I used it, I was far more conservative, but still used too much and cut in in half again. Now that I've gotten the hang of it I will never, ever use anything else.The best way to use it: Don't bother with the parts of your hair that won't be seen because this product will quickly work its way there. Use it only where you need it most, in sections *no smaller* than one inch. Depending on your hair type I may even go two inches (which I do -- I have fine, bleached hair but a lot of it). Trust me, after a small amount of time, the product will get there on its own. It also definitely gave my roots a lift.I can't say if the powder is visible or not because I have pastel pink hair, but when I would use any dry shampoo on my naturally dark hair (pre-bleaching), I found that if you use it the night before there is no whiteness at your scalp the next morning. I imagine the same should be true for this powder.Just buy it, teach yourself how to use it properly and be happy. It's actually a fraction of the cost of what I used to buy in cans now that I think about it (and way better for the environment). If I could buy stock in this company I would. Also -- the no-mess applicator is a thing of beauty. I wonder what else they've got? ;-D

This stuff is the best there is hands down. I have oily hair that lasts about a day before it starts looking sad. I've tried so many of the spray on dry shampoo and none ever worked for me at all--sometimes it seemed like they actually made it worse. This stuff, on the other hand, works like a charm; my hair looks better on day two now than right after I wash it. It also doesn't make a mess like other powder shampoos I've used. It somehow doesn't leave any kind of white residue on my hair or clothing. Oh and there was no scent that I noticed, which works for me.

I bought this after using another similar product because I was looking for a light scent. It is very lightly scented, would be ok with more. But I have to smack it against my head really hard to get anything to come out, and then what comes out is barely anything, although it does seem to work. I ended up putting the powder in the applicator from the other brand. These powders are amazing if you have super oily hair like I do. I have dark brown hair and it does put a little bit of white color in your hair, but if you rub it in really well it’s not so noticeable. I would rather have matte hair that is slightly chalky than oily and flat!

This does work as both dry shampoo, and hair texturizer for volume in fine hair. The press top is an interesting take on how to distribute the powder, and allows you to closely direct exactly where you want the dry shampoo in the hair. I won't continue to use this as my normal dry shampoo for two reasons. One: I find I prefer dry shampoo in spray format as I find I use less product and feel like it covers a larger amount of hair than this dry shampoo dispensing method. Two: This dry shampoo formula if gray in color, which I can see quite a bit within my blonde hair, and it seems to leave a thicker residue on my scalp which made me uncomfortable and itchy until it was washed out.

I have fine naturally blonde hair, that used to get oily at the end of each day, resulting in me washing my hair almost every morning. With the use of this, I can go 2-3 days with the most fresh looking hair, and even after reapplying my hair doesn’t get the slightest bit heavy from product. It’s truly amazing. AND LASTS 10x AS LONG AS THE AROSOL DRY SHAMPOO I USED TO USE. Better for the environment, & better for my hair.

I tried the M'Chel dry shampoo powder with the built in brush but I felt like it didn't make my hair look clean. I then tried this YLNALO powder with the sponge and it did exactly what I wanted. My hair looks clean, it added volume and it has a nice scent. I will not waste another $30 on a dry shampoo that does not work well. I am definitely buying this product again!

This product smells nice as it is lightly scented and has cute packaging. Unfortunately, the applicator is useless. Applying it to your scalp takes a ton of work and continuous tap, tap, tapping on your head. I purchased a brush to apply it but the powder goes everywhere. Now I’m also out the price of the brush. If the seller has any ideas on how to make this work I would be happy to listen.

I was looking for a replacement for my aerosol dry shampoo for a while.I have dark blond wavy hair so a good dry shampoo would help me cut the amount of washes per week.I received this product on May 30th, now we’re almost two months past and I still have a quarter of the volume left. I apply some of the powder on my second day after wash hair and then the magic happens: I don’t have to wash my hair or apply more for 3-4 days!!!My new routine looks like this now: I wash my hair on Sunday evening. On Tuesday morning I apply dry shampoo before work. Then I will wash my hair over the weekend if I’m going somewhere.This is crazy, but it’s true! My favorite thing so far<3
