Sulfodene Medicated Shampoo & Conditioner for Dogs

Great stuff!, I tried everything to help my goldies horrible, itchy, raw, hairless skin, bag balm, toms mite wash (peroxide and borax) allergy pills, grain/corn free food etc, you name it I did it and she did get some relief from all of that however as soon as I stopped she would be at it again scratching, ripping her hair and skin out. So I bought this stuff on a wim and it has been nothing but miraculous, from the first bath, she no longer itches, scratches and her skin has healed up and she has a full coat again :), she has been so miserable for so long I am happy I was able to get her back on her feet. I bath her once a week and that seems to be enough, food is still no grain/corn as with treats and this seems to have cleared her up nicely. Good stuff, defiantly recommend for your pooch.

My dog has super sensitive skin. We even took him to a dermatologist. Their shampoo did not help, and we had to give him a bath almost three times a week. This shampoo works great. I also use it on my other dog. They are both German Shepherds, so they have tons of issues. When I bathe them with this shampoo, they do not scratch and naw at themselves for days. It also makes them smell great. This shampoo used to be sold at Kmart, but there aren't too many around anymore, and stores don't carry it. Thank God for Amazon! The hot spot ointment by these people is great too! I promise you should give this a try if you are ready to give up hope that your poor dog will ever stop being miserable. YOu can't beat the price either!

I’m on my 3rd bottle of this shampoo. Very good for dogs that have allergies or skin problems. Highly recommend

So here I am, it’s 2:14am, and I’m thinking about this dog shampoo like it’s an ex I should have married. I’ve committed to two corgis, but I used to foster all sorts of dogs. Sweet, flaky, itchy little gremlins who looked like they rolled in sadness and then sprinkled themselves with dandruff for texture. My house smelled like fear and hot spots. My couch? A crime scene of fur, skin flakes, and regret. Then I found this shampoo. Look, I didn’t expect much. I’ve been hurt before. But after just a few baths? These dogs were soft. Like, angel-cloud-sleeping-on-a-fresh-bag-of-marshmallows soft. Dandruff? Gone. Itchiness? Canceled. Suddenly, I’m not Googling “dog eczema home remedies” at 3am while a “lab-pit” mix uses my thigh as a scratching post. The smell? Eh. It doesn’t scream “spa day” or “walked through a meadow of vanilla blossoms,” but it also doesn’t smell like wet fur stew. It’s just shampoo. Neutral. Which honestly makes me trust it more. If it smelled like a tropical fruit salad, I’d be suspicious. I don’t even look at other shampoos now. This is The One. We’ve built a life together. My dogs don’t flake. I don’t cry. It’s peace. Buy it. Bathe them. Thank me later.

This did the trick for Max, however its not long lasting, but does stop the itching for a day or 2

Buy this if you have an itchy dog, like a Yorkie. But buy the conditioner too. I’ve found no better product. Good purchase.

I tried this product for my dog after noticing she was dealing with flaky skin here and there. It helped reduce her flakiness to some extent, however, I didn't see the dramatic improvement I was hoping for. I had to use it frequently to keep the flakes at bay, which made me wonder if it was truly addressing the underlying issue or temporarily masking it. The bottle is also on the smaller side, but my dog is larger, so I went through the bottle rather quickly. This product would help with regular maintenance and minor skin issues, but you may need something more specific for dogs with different skin issues.

I used this product on my schnauzer mix for 17 years. She passed and I have two full bred schnauzers now. One started getting little bumps on her back and in researching a solution to the issue I was reminded of this product. Ordered it and it resolved the little bumps after only one shampoo. It’s the best!

No Itching after the first time! It leaves the coat a bit dry though.
