Excellent product. Fits the older Samsung fridge. Samsung have kept the same product number for different types of filters. This company describes the difference and supplies the correct fitting. Excellent, prompt service too.

I was clicking "I love it" but thought that silly. Just one of these filters from Samsung costs over three times the price of these two. I cut up the Samsung one and found very little sediment in it after 5 years. That will be a tribute to Welsh water! I feel the filter fitted by Samsung addressed a problem I did not have. Samsung insist that you need to replace them every six months, and the warning light shows on a time basis. Back in 2013 I was shocked at the frequency and cost of replacements (£25 back then), so pressed the reset button and ignored it. I use ice maybe three or four times a day, and have survived whatever perils there may be. I have a similar fridge/freezer in South Africa, where the water supply has deteriorated markedly in recent years, but this has the cheaper in line type of filter, and that too is replaced as and when I feel it sensible. Samsung are having us over.This makes this product, which actually fits, far better value: I saw a review where it was said that Samsung had changed the filter housing and the new part was around £40. (I would have made them supply and fit.) Three cheers for Waterdrop. I can detect no taste issues either in the ice or the cool water.

I took a gamble on buying this filter to replace a DA29-00003F filter, as that product appears to have been discontinued by everyone (including Samsung). The information provided by the company did not list the 'F' as a suitable match, but after much research elsewhere I found mention that the 'G' filters could be used instead. With 4 filters costing less than 1 original Samsung filter, I felt it was a gamble worth taking, and I was right.The product arrived quicker than expected, and was well-packaged. I have only used one of the four filters so far, but there was no issue with fitting it - in fact it seemed easier than trying to fit the originalSamsung filter, which always leaked water at first. The water coming out of the system flows as quickly as ever and noticeably lacks the chemical taste of the water out of the tap, so I assume the filter is doing the job efficiently. I am, thus far, very pleased with the purchase.
