Christening Gifts. Silverplated Pirate Ship Money Box

Very happy with the money box. It is a good quality and is quite heavy. There is room on the sail if you wish to have it engraved.

I was persuaded to buy this because my better half thought it would be a lovely Christening gift for a baby boy, and because of the other positive reviews on Amazon. I'm pleased to say that both she and the reviewers have been vindicated. This silver plated pirate ship is a lovely and surprisingly substantial ornamental gift. It is really quite heavy, and feels very solid, yet the sails and rigging give it a classy look of delicacy and fine detail. It comes packed with the mast and sail flat, but it takes a second to assemble and it really does look special. If you want something a little different from silver spoons and teddy bears, then this will not disappoint, and for the price I think it's a bargain. Delivery was very swift and the ship was well packaged -very little chance of damage. Highly recommended. AA

Ordered this ship money box for my great nephew's christening present. Delivery was very speedy and the price was the most competative to any other supplier on the web. It's a fairly weighty item for it's size, so has some substance to it. The detailing is great, and it comes with a small seperate adhesive plate that can be easily engraved and stuck to the rear of the ship by the coin slot to individualise. As my great nephew's name is Ollie, I had it engraved with 'the Ollie roger'. The gift was very well received by my neice. Would recommend this item and supplier without a second thought.

This gift is very lovely. Slightly smaller than I expected but very good quality. I had the little plaque engraved "Captain Ted" for little Edward who was the Baptism boy! The plaque was easy to stick on using the adhesive backing. Only one complaint - The Amazon box arrived in perfect condition with plenty of padding but inside this, the small manufacturer's box the pirate ship came in was damaged. I had to buy a new box to do the gift justice which was annoying. All in all, I would still highly recommend this item.

I purchased this as a christening gift and am delighted with it. Perfect for a special present and it has space for engraving if required. Great value and although the baby is too young to appreciate it, I am sure it will become a treasured keepsake. Put on some cotton gloves if you want to take it out of box before giving as a gift as you will leave fingerprints all over it!

I was looking for something a bit different for a Christening gift and this was perfect. I'd seen one almost identical in a well know high street jewellers and they were charging more than double the price. This item was very well packed to pervent any damage in transit and on inspection was a wonderful well made item that looks more expensive than it was. It also came with a silver plate that can be engrave and attached to the back of the ship. After giving this as a present I have had many thanks for it and been told it was the best present of the day as it was so unusual. I'd definately reccommend this item it's a wonderful gift and would look great on display in a childs room.

I wanted something different for our Grandsons Christening, and found this Pirate ship in our local jewellers, and it was £30 and was identical, I even took it there to be engraved, and they asked where I had purchased it, so funny. It is really lovely and good quality it arrived on time and well packaged. I had the sail engraved, there was even a small plaque enclosed for engraving. It is quite a good size and looks lovely on his box shelves in his bedroom, which is a nautical themed room, and he is enjoying filling it up with pound coins! Highly recommended.

I ordered this item as a Christening gift for a baby boy. The order arrived very quickly and the item was of a very good quality and quite 'weighty'. I consider this item is very good value for money and I'm sure it will be a lovely keepsake for the child concerned. Very pleased.

The gift was perfect.
