These work. They are clearly labeled. The connector is no soldered, which is what I wanted. There are no LEDs on the board, also what I wanted

Dachte mir trotz der anderen Kunden die es nicht zum laufen bekommen haben, dass ich es bestimmt doch hinbekomme. Tja... leider keine Chance. Beide Module weigerten sich ihren Zweck zu erfüllen. Mit dem Multimeter konnte ich auch feststellen das Kanal 1 nicht mal am Schraubterminal ankommt und angeschlossen ist. Doch selbst auf Kanal 2 war keine Kommunikation möglich. Werde beide Module daher zurücksenden. Getestet wurde mit einem Raspberry Pi 5 und einem Raspberry Pi 3 mit Raspberry OS. Die entsprechenden einstellungen wurden (Bluetooth deaktiveren, UART Terminal deaktivieren und UART an sich aktivieren) korrekt vorgenommen. Keine chance... EDIT: Upgrade von 1 Stern auf 2 Sterne Bewertung, da Treedix so freundlich war und mir ohne zu zögern den Preis erstattet hat. Habe nun bereits auch andere Module (10x Stück Pack), auch da war von bisher getesten 3 Modulen schon 1 defekt.

Ich weiß nicht, was los war, aber die haben bei mir nicht funktioniert. Zumindest habe ich aus einer RS232 Quelle keine TTL Signal bekommen. Vielleicht lag es an mir, aber ich musste die zurückschicken.

Bought this for a project needing RS232 control with an RPi. The Treedix board is tiny and with soldered-on leads it is small enough to easily tuck inside a regular RPi case, just add a tiny strip of electrical tape to cover the back-end of the leads. I added a 3 pin terminal block to the case for the external plug and ran the RS232 leads to that and mapped the Logic leads to GPIO. Much better than the giant DB9 interface most adapter boards come with. I am buying an extra set just to keep in the project parts drawer.

I had one that used a DB9 but it was bulky and hard to custom wire. These are nice once you solder the connector on. They work great. Currently have one on a NEO-GPS chip and the other on an Arduino. Only running 9600bps but it is rock solid.
