I bought this bird feeder with camera to try to record the birds in my backyard. At the first couple days, I was disappointed, because only mouse and squirrel came! Birds are afraid of flying down to this feeder maybe because of the camera; But after 3 days, the first bird came, and it was a cardinal, then sparrow, mock bird all came everyday!I truly gain fun watching the recording of birds eating and talking in front of the camera, they are so lovely, thanks for this camera feeder.The thing they can improve is the hanging method, you have to mount it, there is no place you can hook it. And the camera system bugs a lot.Overall this camera feeder is very innovative, and fun.

It all works well-solar panel charging, the wifi connection, motion detector. What i learned was that the placement of a bird feeder is super important. I have been a few days waiting and no birds have shown up so i used Chat GPT to learn some tricks to installing a bird feeder. It should be relatively close to a tree not out in the open in full sunlight so the birds feel safe that they can flee to a tree if a predator comes. It will take some patient while the local birds get used to a new thing.

OK for those of you looking for a quick set up out of the box that is intuitive-- this is not it. Directions are incomplete and lacking. The application that you have to load onto your device has not been updated in a loooong while which makes one suspect of the support provided by the company. After an hour of frustration I got a techie friend to help set it up. It does work but I couldn't find a landscape feature to take advantage of the camera view of the birds and the lid to the feeder is held on by two micro screws which will soon be lost I'm betting. So my advice -- caveat emptor.

Really nice Bird Feeder! Connects well with my 2G network and provides notifications when birds are feeding. Easy install and set-up. Highly recommend.
