After putting up with a cheap pair that was butchering my plants, it was finally time for a proper upgrade. I was ready to splurge, but these GRÜNTEK shears have proven to be incredible value instead. They feel wonderfully sturdy and well-made in the hand. The ergonomic handles are a standout feature—the green rubberized coating provides a secure, comfortable, non-slip grip that makes a real difference during longer pruning sessions. They are the perfect size for detailed work on my roses and eleagnus. Most importantly, they perform brilliantly. The blades are extremely sharp and have sliced through both sappy and firm branches with clean, neat cuts. I also really appreciate the thoughtful rubber bump stop; it makes operation smooth and fatigue-free while preventing any accidental pinches. Great quality shears for the price, my second GRÜNTEK product these are an excellent, reliable pair of secateurs that I should have bought sooner. I can't praise these Gruntek Professional Secateurs enough - they've become my constant companion in the garden. I've used them to prune everything from roses to substantial shrubs and fresh foliage, and they tackle every job with ease. They deliver a clean, precise cut every time, making pruning quicker and more enjoyable. They're comfortable to hold, and even after extended use my hand never feels tired. I have medium-to-small hands, and the size is perfect for me, while my son, who has much larger hands, also finds them comfortable to use. The secateurs feature a built-in safety lock, high-grade Japanese SK5 steel blades, and ergonomic non-slip handles that provide a secure grip, even during heavier pruning tasks. I've used mine so extensively that they're now ready for a touch-up with my diamond sharpening file. If they ever wear out, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair.

These are pretty good secateurs, but not without flaws. Pros: - Mostly easy to use - Acceptable handle grip - Sturdy feel - Lightweight - Fits in standard secateur holsters Cons: - Not as sharp out the box as other secateurs I have purchased have been - Design is basic and uninspired Conclusion: These secateurs will get the job done. They have achieved a very sturdy feeling item, whilst keeping the weight low. That said, the inner rubber that should shield the secateurs on full squeeze has already begun to tear away after only two weeks of use. I would strongly suggest using a tool sharpening kit, or whetstone to keep it in prime condition.

It was time for a secateur upgrade, one pair apparently lost (!) another pair (cheap as chips) falling apart. I had a bit of a cast about and despite some negative reviews these seemed to fit the bill at a decent price. Not sure why I didn't buy them sooner, they appear really well made and feel sturdy in the hand. I don't have overly large hands but there is no issue in use and they do appear to be extremely sharp and have remained so after some inital use. They are branded as German Gruntek, not sure if they are made in Germany or ubiquitous China, the packaging doesn't say, but wherever appears to have done a good job. The rubber bump stop is a nice addition and leads to easy, fatigue-free operation and reduces the possibility of catching your skin in the closing blades.

I could have bought a really cheap pair of secateurs to replace my previous cheap supermarket pair that broke. These GRÜNTEK secateurs are excellent, solid, well built pruners at a fantastic price. Hopefully, they will last for many years.

I was in a mind to splash out but these are good value. Nice feel to them. Like the green rubber round the handles it makes them more comfortable. Just the right size for roses and eleagnus.

Non avevo mai utilizzato delle forbici da potatura prima d'ora, quindi non ho molti termini di paragone, ma queste mi hanno fatto un'ottima impressione. Tagliano davvero con grande facilità, quasi "come il burro", permettendo di lavorare velocemente e con poco sforzo. In poco tempo sono riuscito a completare tutti i lavori di potatura che avevo programmato. L'impugnatura risulta comoda e l'attrezzo dà una sensazione di solidità. Anche dopo diversi tagli non ho avvertito particolare affaticamento alla mano. Per ora sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto; l'unico aspetto che resta da verificare è la durata nel tempo delle lame e del meccanismo. Se manterranno queste prestazioni, saranno davvero un ottimo acquisto.

J'ai opté pour ce sécateur parce qu'il me semblait offrir un bon rapport qualité-prix, et je n'ai pas été déçue. Je l'ai utilisé pour des petits travaux de jardinage, comme tailler mes rosiers, mes arbustes, et les petites branches de mes arbres fruitiers. Pour ce genre de tâches, il s'est montré très efficace. L'ergonomie de ce sécateur est vraiment bonne ; il tient bien en main et reste confortable même après une longue utilisation. En termes de tranchant, il est assez performant. Il ne faut pas s'attendre à couper des grosses branches avec, mais pour les petites branches et les tiges, il fait le travail sans problème. Les matériaux semblent être de qualité moyenne, mais franchement, c'est déjà très bien pour le prix. Après presque deux mois d'utilisation, je n'ai pas constaté d'usure rapide ; le sécateur coupe toujours très bien. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le mécanisme de verrouillage, qui est à la fois simple et sécurisé. C'est un aspect important pour moi, car j'ai un petit enfant à la maison, et je veux être certain que les outils de jardinage ne représentent pas un danger. En plus de son efficacité, j'aime aussi le look du sécateur ; il a une couleur agréable qui se démarque. En comparaison avec d'autres modèles que j'ai utilisés par le passé, ce sécateur se montre relativement performant, surtout pour des jardiniers amateurs. Je le recommande sans hésitation à ceux qui cherchent un outil fiable pour entretenir leur jardin.
