Generic and generally unhelpful
The advice in this book is akin to telling a depressed person: "Hey, cheer up, because life is too short to be sad!" Some advice is very specific, such as personal hygiene tips for using shampoo and washing your clothes with soap and water. Other advice is so vague that it should never have been mentioned. Example: move past small talk and into deeper topics. But what are deeper topics?? The only target audience I can imagine is someone who grew up on a remote island.
