Attractive on the wall, good capacity but sadly lets in water 💧 when it rains 🥲

I struggled to find a post box capable of taking small packages and which didn't look like a plain box. This one ticks most of the, er, boxes, and for the money, it's a surprisingly nice thing. The paint scheme in particular helps it stand out, as does its unique shape - within a few hours of putting ours up we had already had numerous compliments about it. The box is wide enough to take small packages, and the lid opens a fair bit to allow this. It doesn't open as much when fixed to a wall, but still plenty enough. The lid has a tendency to scrape against the box when it's closed, so I added a thin strip of sticky padding to stop it marking. On the downside, the box is made of fairly thin sheet metal and flexes quite a bit when pressed; I could be wrong but I don't think we'll still have it in 10 years' time. There's also only two wall fixing screw holes, at the top, so the bottom of the box moves a bit. The lack of a locking lid might be a problem for some, but the fixing method means that pulling it off a wall would be fairly simple for a thief anyway.

Really quite disappointed with this item. Previous post box let in water hence the replacement. BUT this one lets in water. What I think I am going to have to do is apply roofing tape to the hinge because of its position it is letting in water. The Post box sits on a pole with it' back back in westerly position. As we in the UK suffer from basically westerly weather fronts the rain leaden wind it whistles in through the hinges. I might end up getting one of those old GPO cast iron ones...

Long time review. Seems ok at first but after a while the red fades and looks very washed out due to the sun. It also leaks small amounts of water into the box when it rains heavily. Just pay a bit more for a good one.

Looks fab - easy to use - assembled to my mums gate with two black cable ties. V easy. No lock but that’s what we wanted as mum would have lost the keys anyway !

Honestly was pleasantly surprised. Usually the pictures look bigger than the product on arrival, but this is spot on

I like the look,colour and style but it takes in water. All my post is wet. Won’t recommend.

Mooie brievenbus, productinformatie klopt echter niet helemaal. Er zit geen slot op de brievenbus en hij is helemaal van staal, de voorkant is niet van gietijzer. De brievenbus zelf ziet er prima en netjes uit.

Levererades aningen skev i formen med ett par repor på locket. Men ok ändå. Mindre än förväntat för en postlåda. Verkar faktiskt vara vattentät (än så länge).
