Recently bought and brought on a girls’ trip to London after seeing it multiple times on BuzzFeed top travel lists. Holy crap, did it come in handy! Barely made it out of security before my friend’s baggage handle broke completely off. She thought she was going to have to lug her carry-on through the whole trip, but I used this item to fashion her a new handle so she could drag the bag behind her and utilize the wheels. It made the trip so much easier for her. Not exactly how I had planned to use the item on the trip, but I’m glad I had it so I could help her out, and it held up the whole trip despite rather rough use through the airports. Overall, great product, looks exactly as shown, very happy I bought it!

I bought this to attach a portable seat cushion to my carry on bag. I wish it were a little shorter because the cushion kind of flops around when attached. Still it is useful and durable.

Needed something to hang my jacket or neck pillow from my carry-on tote. Unfortunately, the ring does not fit the pull up handle of the suitcase, but any tote or bag that has a soft handle or D rings is perfect.

I used this to connect my rollaboard to my bigger suitcase and can’t complain. I gave the other one to my husband to try. We travel a lot and these are clever. They are also fairly priced.

I shouldn’t expect much for 9 dollars, but I still expected slightly more than what was received. The O-ring is super cheap. Sure, it’s metal, but that doesn’t make it quality. The O-ring’s latch mechanism has a lot of lateral give, which means it doesn’t clasp in place reliably. This makes it very unreliable, so if you’re attaching anything of value to it, be cautious. The strap itself feels adequate, but is not terribly robust. The buckle likewise gets the job done, but I wouldn’t trust it under any significant stress. Just as importantly, the strap is way too short. If you’re hoping to roll up a jacket in the strap, that jacket better be lightweight (e.g. a windbreaker or packable rain jacket). All in all, a disappointment. I wouldn’t buy it again. I should have known better - the cheap options always fall short.

I travel frequently and this has been a surprise must-bring for every trip. I got it as an "eh...maybe it'll come in handy" and it's turned out to be so handy! I normally use it for tethering my waterbottle or jacket/sweatshirt to my backpack or purse, but it's come in handy in many other ways. I've used it snorkeling to double-secure my camera pouch. I even have used it to better secure my hotel room doors when I stayed in a room where the "lock" on my door was more of a suggestion than functional security. It's also been handy for airport bathroom moments when I need to hang things or attach them to my rolling luggage so they don't touch to icky floors. When I'm not traveling it's become a permanent staple in my work backpack, too. The clips are smooth-functioning. The strap is not stretchy FYI but it is adjustable. I got the bright yellow because I knew I'd be using it in the ocean and wanted to be able to spot it immediately.

I took this on a tour of Costa Rica and gave one to my friend. It was a game changer for our trip. You can easily and securely strap a jacket, shoes, or even some clothes you're drying onto your bag. Or at one point I used it to secure the bag itself to something. My friend had traveled a lot but never knew these existed and he loved it!
