It came with a bag to store it in and a pre-tied carabiner. I haven’t used it yet but it seems of a merchantable quality. The cut end has been heat sealed. I’ve put it in my van for emergency use so the bag is useful.

Good value for money. We needed two five metre lengths so cut it in two and melted the ends over. Tied loops in the ends which, even after extensive towing of SUPs and small RIBs, are still holding and haven't slipped.

I used this twice then it got stolen for a washing line where it still is now really strong rope plenty of flex have to order another great rope

The cable is long and does float. It's nice and thin so it doesn't take up a lot of room on the shelf or in the boat. I've used it for various purposes and it's been strong and useful. I probably wouldn't try to tow anything heavy with this though, since it is so thin, but I've had no problems with the times I've used it. The clip on the end has a locking nut, which is helpful for extra reassurance that it won't come loose. The clip hasn't rusted, though its a bit stiffer than it was at first. (Used it around 8 times all across this past summer).

ch habe das NorthPada 6 mm x 10 Meter Seil gezielt als Leine für einen kleinen Faltanker (ca. 1,5 kg) für mein Kajak/kleineres Schlauchboot gekauft.Wichtig für meine Anwendung: Es sollte nicht schwimmen, damit der Anker bei der Nutzung zuverlässig auf den Grund sinkt und das Seil straff bleibt. Das Seil erfüllt diese Anforderung perfekt, obwohl der Titel "Schwimmendes Seil" suggeriert. Die Dichte und das Gewicht sind für eine Ankerleine in dieser Größe genau richtig.Was mir besonders gefällt:Ideale Stärke: 6 mm ist robust genug, um auch bei etwas Strömung oder Wind zu halten, liegt aber trotzdem gut in der Hand und lässt sich leicht aufrollen.Gute Länge: 10 Meter sind für die gängigen Wassertiefen an Seen und Küstennähe ausreichend.Hervorragende Qualität: Das Material ist widerstandsfähig und macht einen sehr langlebigen Eindruck. Auch Salzwasser dürfte dem Seil nichts anhaben.Fazit:Wer ein zuverlässiges, robustes und gut dimensioniertes Seil für einen leichten Anker oder ähnliche maritime Anwendungen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar.Klare 5-Sterne-Empfehlung!
