Great gadget! Very handy to have a mute button, in addition to volume control. Makes watching shows so much better because now I can hear everything, and don’t have to depend on reading the subtitles super fast, with my face up close to the screen! Makes it so I can listen/hear, and thereby pay better attention to watching the program.If you go online to listen to lectures, or zoom, or remote court proceedings, or any broadcast entertainments, then you know the audio isn’t always good (or good enough for you to hear). This extra speaker, with its 4 foot cord, is a brilliant remedy that really helps.

I bought this lightweight speaker (it one speaker, not a set) for my dad's desktop PC, which has old, sputtering speakers and has been having sound problems for months. This new speaker plugged right in, is easy to use, does an excellent job, and I also tested it successfully on my laptop. The decrease and increase volume buttons are easily marked, as is the middle Mute button. Currently priced at $9.99 plus tax, it's a steal, and I'm now buying another one.

I purchased this speaker because I was fed up with my Bluetooth speakers had connectivity issues. So I looked around and came across this speaker and read the reviews and thought "why not for 10 bucks". And I have to say it doesn't sound like a 10 dollar speaker at all. Now, don't get me wrong Bose has nothing to worry about but they are more than adequate for what I was looking for. All you do is plug it in and start listening. If you're looking for a very affordable speaker that just works don't hesitate to buy this.

It does the job. I needed a speaker for my switch in docked mode when connected to my computer monitor. I used a Bluetooth one before and the issue with this is it interferes with how many controllers you can use at once which gets annoying. A wired speaker removes this issue. It plugs right into the side usb port and connects easily. The sound quality isn't the best which I wasn't expecting for the low price. But it does the job. I can clearly hear my games which is what I need. I also appreciate the compact size.

I have bought a few speakers, even thought maybe my hearing was going bad, then I tried this one...Crystal clear, can hear every word on movies, news, every note if listening to music and I love it...I'm getting another one for my car...For the price, simply fantastic...I'm thankful, and I mean it.

I had this amazing set of surround-sound Bose speakers, connected to a huge Bose sub-woofer, for a large screened monitor for watching TV and movies. The Bose sound system worked great for about 10 years, and yesterday, suddenly, it committed suicide (I was watching World News at the time, draw your own conclusions from that).I will be replacing the system with something rather equivalent in quality but in the mean time I needed to do something if I wanted to be able to continue watching on the giant monitor. I set out to find an inexpensive speaker that I could place close to my head (where I generally sit and watch movies), as a substitute until the new system is in place. The reason that I'm writing this review, is I am amazed at the quality of this little $10 speaker. It is certainly not what I had before and was never intended to be, but as a quick fix in a pinch, I have to say it is surprisingly good!I Placed my order and purchased this little speaker yesterday evening, and I have it in my hands, in less than 24 hours. Prime shipping made it free, and it arrived well packaged.Admittedly, I was not expecting much, especially for the price point, and the fact that it was a singular speaker, add that to the fact that I had been spoiled by my high-end sound system. No, I was not expecting much. (Humorous side note, although this speaker is in fact $10 on Amazon, directly next to the price on the product page, in parentheses, it says...$5 item. I guess we are aware of the markup now).How pleasantly surprised I am at the sound quality of this little replacement speaker. It has a rather deep and rich bass sound, which I am surprised about and its volume is such that I cannot keep it close to my head at full volume as it is too loud. For what it is, it does an excellent job. I am certain that on vacations, because it is in fact so small, I will take it with me and plug it into my laptop when watching videos or movies while away. All in all, I am really pleased with this product and very surprised at the quality considering the price point.Oh... One other point I should not neglect mentioning, the unit is powered via USB and the manufacturer includes a Free USB-C to USB adapter (this would be necessary for example if you are utilizing Apple products which I happen to be doing. Nice little bonus to include the adapter for free)If you need a strong little inexpensive speaker, that is simply plug and play, I definitely recommend picking up one of these, i'm quite pleased with my purchase.

They're cheap but they work. I just needed the circuit boards from inside. The speaker was too heavy for the competition robot I put it on, so I swapped out the speaker but kept the USB driver board. Seems loud enough, although I didn't test with the original speakers very much. I can say from taking apart the cases that they're probably fairly durable. The PCB quality is bottom dollar so I ended up ripping the solder pads off one on accident, but potting the rest in hot glue made that not happen anymore. They knotted and glued the cable inside the speaker so you can't really damage it by pulling the cable. The volume control didn't work on the Nvidia Orin Nanos my team is using, but that's probably just down to weird software or Linux drivers doing their thing. Idk, I'm a hardware guy. It all worked on my windows computers when I tested it there, and it still made sound on the Orins which is what matters.As for normal use, they have that soft rubber coating that gets sticky after a long time. Probably not an issue, I don't think the electronics will last long enough for that to happen. They're plug and play, so no weird software needed. They look fine but they're not glossy like in the thumbnail photos. The rubber grip on the bottom also seemed nice. This should practically stick to any glossy surface. The included USB adapters are also a nice touch.
