How long are the ears?

For me, they’re shoulder length.

Does this stretch enough to fit someone with dreads?

Yes it does. I actually bought it for my son who has dreads

Is the patch on front removeable?

It could be. I kept mine attached

is there a version without the giant tag in the front?

It looks like it's not stitched in tight, you could use a seam ripper or small scissors
