Before purchasing I read the reviews and saw most of the negative reviews were about the installation service and not about the product itself. I took a chance and it paid off. I called the customer care before purchasing and asked if I want to purchase the exhaust pipe myself what I need to do to make sure the installation person doesn’t suggest it won’t work? They suggested I can get the pipe myself but the diameter of the pipe should be about 8-8.5 inch and the length should be around 10 feet. I purchased it along with the chimney from Amazon and the service person installed that one only. No complaint about the installation except two minor things. 1. They fixed the pipe with a packing tape (brown cello tape like one). I thought there are some dedicated silver tape for this but I’m not sure what that tape is called. 2. They kept insisting to give a review on Amazon about my installation experience and share a screenshot over WhatsApp. Even after suggesting I wouldn’t post a review to satisfy their whims before using the product at least for a month. The product itself is good. I was using an exhaust fan but it wasn’t able to keep the smoke out. In the last couple of months the chimney is keeping the smoke out and I know that because the fan in the leaving room isn’t getting oil and grime deposited on it anymore. There is a compartment which I’m supposed to clean manually but till now I didn’t see any significant oil getting deposited there. The light in the chimney is not strong enough to be relied for cooking, but it will only supplement the kitchen lighting

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It was a good fit to my requirement and budget. Also Faber is a well known brand in world of Kitchen chimneys. Installation speed: Installation was done within 72 hrs of receiving chimney and engineer was pretty professional. Functionality: Push button chimney but it works fine for regular two burner stove. Suction power: Suction power is good enough for a two burner stove. Fit: We had 70cm space above stove so this 60cm chimney fit perfectly. Noise level: It's not a bldc motor chimney so Noise level are significant.

Talking about the delivery experience it was nicely packaged and there was not even a minor damage on the product. Then comes the installation service, that was fabulous and hats-off to Faber for such services, the technician was very professional and installed the kitchen chimney according to our preference just as we wanted it to be. Thereafter he explained everything in details about the functionality of the product and various other things very clearly and definitely deserves a 5 stars for that 👍 Talking about the product - The product is also working fine. The suction power of the chimney is great and due to the auto clean technology it's quite easy to maintain & clean the chimney. It's not like some cheap chimneys out there in the market and feels very premium like build quality, looks and things like that. And the major Pros about the product is that it's really easy to use and even if you have a doubt then the live demo would be there demonstrated by the technician. Overall a great Value for money product and I would recommend this to all the customers out there looking for a great kitchen chimney with a budget around 10-11k 😊

We had ordered for a Faber Chimney (60cm) which came in a sturdy package. The installation was done by the service person deployed by Faber on payment of 600/-. The pipe was brought by the Service person and costed 1500/-. Demonstration was given very well. It's an easy to use chimney, with buttons. The oil collector tray is easy to open and clean, which needs to be done every couple of months or so. Chimney looks good too, neat, and suitable for any kitchen. Suction is good. Overall it is a good buy with proper installation service from the Seller/Faber.

Installation cost is many hidden cost is there( as mention in Amajon std =Rs1200 + 600) But in actual so many hidden cost is there. I have to paid 2800/( 1200+600 + 1/ 2 pipe 5 "+ cowl 150+ 250b( 6" to 5" join socket) others as Technocian charged of total installation. . Also Quality of work _ cello tape used in duct connections joining where hot air discharge and no clamp , wire binding. This is not match with renowned company like Amazon. Technician behavior is not good and always in argument mood. Overall no satisfied. However, today installed ( 19th Nov3pm) ,so not able to reveal the Alpha brand overall performance at this moment. However, only just operating without any cooking seems to be very high noise in low fan speed also. Let's see what is my fortunate,
