the sensors are very easy to pair with the hub. Took about 10 minutes to set everything up. Tested each sensor and they notify you instantly through the hub alarm and by SMS text and email! Works great and gives reassurance. update - 3/2026 - I have read many reviews about how this product didn't work when they needed it the most. Keep in mind the product HUB can and does go offline on occasion. This is no different than a wireless tv going offline at your home. You simply reset the HUB by unplugging it and plugging it back in. The question is - "How do I know if/when the HUB goes offline?". You can simply set up your notifications on the app to notify you via text message and/or email if/when the HUB ever goes offline so you can address it right away. This product for the cost in my opinion is a GREAT value.

I came back from a cruise to find out my air conditioner condensate line had clogged up and flooded an area of my house. The same thing happened a few years ago. I ordered this Winees water leak detector that night. Setup was ridiculously easy and done in about 30 minutes. The app is very user friendly. I got the three pack and put one under the kitchen sink, behind the washer and under the AC line, and plugged the hub into an outlet in my hall. I tested each with water and they worked perfectly. You get an adjustable alarm and then an email telling you where the leak is located. Considering the peace of mind this gives, the price is more than reasonable. I am recommending Winees to all my friends snd family.

We know the trouble a water leak can create in a house. Our finished basement flooded which resulted in tens of thousands for repair costs and many personal items destroyed. If we had known when the leak started, we could have avoided all of it. There are water leak detectors that sound an alarm when water is detected, but I've always been concerned that I may not hear the alarm or I may not be home when it goes off. I wanted a solution that could alert me on my phone if water was detected. The Winees WiFi Water Leak Detector is the perfect solution for this problem. Its central hub connects to my wifi so it can provide alerts wherever I am. It can also be placed in a central location in the house so the siren is sure to be heard if water is detected by any of the 3 sensors that it comes with. They connect to the hub via low power bluetooth, so you can scatter them around the house (e.g. under the hot water heater, in the basement bathroom, in the laundry room, etc). They can all be monitored from the Aidot app. The app will also alert you to low battery warnings from the sensors. Installation was a breeze, although I did have one of the three sensors arrive with a dead battery. But after a quick change, it was ready to go. My wife accidentally started filling a tub where I had placed one of the sensors. It instantly started the siren at the hub station and sent me an alert on my phone. Couldn't ask for more than that!

I bought a six-pack of these a couple of months ago, because I had a pipe burst and flood my entire house, so I wanted and “early warning system” in case it happened again. This afternoon, I went into my basement to get something out of storage. As I was leaving, I glanced down to the basement floor and saw my sensor sitting in a puddle of water. It seems my humidifier drain hose had leaked water onto the floor and totally immersed my sensor. I pulled up the app on my phone, and only AFTER I opened the app did it alert me to the issue. Gee, THAT’s not very helpful! If it doesn’t bring the issue to my attention unless I have the app open, then what good is it ?!? I’m ditching these things and finding a system that actually works ! UPDATE Jan, 2024: This system has AGAIN failed me. My basement flooded and I got NO NOTIFICATION at all from the two sensors in the area. One was actually floating in water, and the other was sitting in a puddle. Both of them showed “DRY STATE” in the app while they were wet. Therefore I have found that this system is totally unreliable. What good is a water sensing system that you cannot rely on ?!? I have requested a full refund from the manufacturer, as I cannot count on this system to perform as advertised. I have wasted far too much time trying to get this junk to work, and their support is pathetic !!!

Purchased this system to monitor my basement/water closet and have peace of mind in case there's ever a leak. Setup was super easy and straightforward with no issues; all 3 detection pucks were linked to the main hub right out of the box and linking to my wifi was hassle-free. I tested all 3 sensors to verify the detection was working and it was flawless and very fast. It sends a text and an email to whomever you setup to receive the notifications in the app and does so promptly. My only issue is that periodically the main hub seems to drop wifi connection, but only for a couple minutes every time and never longer. I don't think this is really even an issue because it doesn't remain disconnected, just something to note. I would def buy this system again if I didn't already have one!

Working so far. Have not had a leak yet but did test them prior to placing them in the basement. did get a notification that the hub went offline but was back on line (could have been a internet problem). Nice to know when the system is offline so I see what is wrong and is nice to know when it is back up also. Like the idea of an alarm upstairs so I can hear it when I am not near my phone. Easy setup and liked how you could change the sensor names so I know what window is leaking. Just an update on your product We got over 4 inches of rain today causing or window wells to fill up and leak. I got a notification on my phone and left work. Unfortunately we couldn't get home fast enough to stop the water from flooding the basement but we do know where it is coming in from and let us get home two hours faster to stop more water from coming in. I am very impressed with the siren on the hub it was going off when we walked in so I will know we will hear it go off if it goes of in the middle of the night since sometimes I slept through text messages on my phone.

These work! I've had them for just over a year. Set up is super easy. It sends you emails and alerts if you're not home. My hot water heater sprung a leak today. While I was outside the system alerted the kids in the house and sent me emails to my phone.

I bought this leak detector kit to alert me to water intrusion in my home, as over the years I have had to perform cleanup twice from water flooding into my basement. The kit included a main hub, 3 water leak sensors, batteries, a battery cover removal tool and an instruction manual. I placed the three small white sensors in various locations in the basement, although they can be used wherever water intrusion could be a problem like in a cabinet under a bathroom or kitchen sink. Once the sensors were placed, I plugged in the hub and downloaded the app. It was easy to set up and connect through the app via my home wifi. The Winees system eases my mind from worrying about future flood issues.
