It has been cold cold cold in Michigan the past few months and with that comes dry air from forced air furnaces. We need a ton of added humidity to keep sinus headaches away. My filter-style humidifier wasn't getting the job done. So we added this unit. It puts out a tremendous amount of water every day. It is easy to refill, silent in its operation, and so far hasn't required a cleaning despite lots of use. I saw one reviewer complain that the water level is hard to determine and while it could be easier you can usually see the water level through a vertical window but if that doesn't work just lift the top of the unit slightly and look inside...no big deal. You get a little remote control and there is a light function if that interests you (not much interest in my case). This thing is easy to operate and you don't need to worry about wicks getting yucky and needing changing. Highly effective, very affordable.

We remodeled our home and added 4 new vents to our bedroom. Our bedroom is over the furnace in the basement so our bedroom gets the most air which makes it super dry. I was getting annoyed by waking up in the mornings with bloody noses and dry skin (did it for 1-2 weeks straight). Something needed done asap! My granny told me I needed a humidifier (all the old timers know the tips and good tricks). The research began and looking on Amazon, I didn’t want to spend a fortune yet wanted good quality. Bit the bullet and bought this humidifier. The set up took only 10 minutes and was very self explained. It has a modern sleek look to it and fits well with our remodel look. Soon as I started up the humidifier and shut our bedroom doors, within 2 hours I could tell a difference in the air AND it is super quiet. I’m sitting in bed right now typing this out and I usually do not write reviews unless I am amazed by the product, I am satisfied.

Been using and at first was wonderful then my furnace stopped working because the filter was plugged. Shortly after I could hear my furnace struggling and I could hardly get the filter out. Looked clean but a noticed it has a white film on it. The filter was 2 weeks old. I did some research and found out the cool mist humidifier causing this problem. Recommended distilled but I go through a gallon every couple of days. Very disappointed that there is no warning anywhere. Loved the humidifier but not enough to wreak my furnace.

The humidifier works well. I would be a little happier if the plastic housing was a better grade of plastic. It's the hard cheaper type that if it were to fall would most likely crack fairly easily. It has a slim profile which I like and it does mist the humidity up higher which I also like. Holds a fair amount of water and does put out a nice vapor (see pics) but, I would be happier if it had a bit of stronger output. It does take a long time to go thru water which is nice for some people (doesn't have to be constantly filled) but I would like a stronger output to keep the humidity up a little better in here. It does have lights in the water tank which it says is "uv" but, not really sure about that. It can be a little difficult to see the water level at times and I overfilled it once without realizing it and it leaked out the back around the handle to lift it. I caught that pretty quickly and have been careful not to repeat that mistake. :-) All in all, for the price, I'm pretty happy with it as I am particularly fond of taller units with the top fill. (I have about 5 different humidifiers throughout the house all winter long) I would recommend it.

This is a nice humidifier that has nice features. With the larger tank you don't have to refill it everyday which is nice. Also like the top fill, just flip open the flap and pour in the water. We like the remote control to setup the humidifier and humidity levels. Only flaw we have found is while the tank has an LED light to help show water level through the window it is hard to actually see the water level.

I bought 2 of these the both work great. One died and I reached out to the company and they are going to replace it. I would buy another if I needed one. Update I just recieved my replacement unit. It works great. I love that you can put so much water in it and have it run for days. I like to put a fan by it to help circulate humidity. Amazing customer support. I always use reverse osmosis water or distilled water to help prevent the white stuff that can accumulate. It also helps to prolong the units life. If your in ohio, marcs sells distilled water for 1 dollar or you can get a fish tank reverse osmosis system for cheap. I wouldn't reccomend tap water because the ionizer puts whatever is in the water into the air. I also clean my system once every 2 to 3 weeks. It comes apart easily for cleaning.

Over the years, I have purchased three versions of this style of humidifier. They have all been quiet when running, but earlier versions had some beeping and glugging when water would pump to the top. This version is as silent as a machine can be. Superduper, amazingly quiet! There are beeps when you turn it on and make selections like mist volume or the sleep settings, so keep that in mind when you have this in a bedroom. We have found that we get over 24 hours on the highest mist volume on one tank of water. Filling is easy, or at least as easy as filling a humidifier can be. Cleaning is also relatively simple, with no grody filter and not a lot of nooks and crannies. We always run this with the UV nightlight on and we have never had gunk build up. The UV nightlight in this version is more robust than in previous versions. Years ago, I bought a fairly expensive humidifier that promised silent operation. It was cutting edge. It really was quiet (except that it BEEPED repeatedly when it ran out of water -- can you imagine no one in the design and manufacturing process realizing that was a terrible feature for a device that is often used in bedrooms??) but compared to this gem, it sounded like a diesel engine! This humidifier is bordering on perfect. Buy it without hesitation. Do make sure you purchase one of the newest versions to ensure you get truly silent operation.
