GET A GYRO BALL TODAY!
I bought an original DynaBee back in the 1970's and really liked it. I decided to see if I could find them for sale now and was surprised to see a wide variety of them. I bought 4 of them for my Grandchildren and they have been able to get them spinning after a little practice. The reason I chose the Gyro Ball is because they have made TWO Excellent updates to the toy:1. The internal Self Start Spring - That is a game-changer. The ones in the 70's had to be started up against carpet or a couch or your hand. Later they put a string start on them but it was awkward. The Spring Start is a genius update.2. The Wrist Lanyard - Brilliant. My 70's DynaBee would sometimes get going so fast that people would drop it. A few drops and they lost their internal balance and wouldn't spin up as high. Lanyard Excellent!3. I just remembered that the Gyro Ball also has LED lights inside that are powered by the gyro itself - BRILLIANT.

Regaining my grip
A couple of minutes a day and my wrists are feeling better. The built in starter is a nice feature. Every now and then it doesn't catch but a swear word or two seems to fix it. The one I had 40 years ago had a plastic ribbon that I had to keep track of and wind up on the rotor as a rip cord starter. This new method is much easier. The wrist loop is a nice feature too. It can get a little difficult to keep my grip on the ball after a workout and the strap gives me some peace of mind in case I drop it.I saw some reviewers mention that it was hard to start or wasn't working for them but this hasn't been the case for me; mine is working great. The motion is gentle and slow, like swirling an ice cube in a glass that you're holding from the top. As the rotor picks up speed I just have to grip the ball tighter and tighter, I don't have to spin it faster. That said, it did take a bit more practice with my non-dominant hand, but just a bit. Slow and easy. It's a nice way to relax with a light show as a bonus. Like a fidget spinner but with strength benefits. I'm loving mine.

Delicado

Makes A GREAT Gift
I use mine everyday and it is fun and healthy to use. Pushing 80 it helps my arms and neck. This one I gave to my Granddaughter as a spontaneous gift. She loves it and uses it at work during breaks and lunch time. Here is a friendly warning; it takes a few days to get a rhythm and start the process but don't give up... it is worth it and you will enjoy it.

Good concept but not noticable enough. Can be noisy.
Good concept and feels good on my wrist, but the resistance isn't quite enough to feel like I'm doing anything. Only slightly more than waving my hand around. Also occasionally the bearings are very squeaky and annoying.

Random show of colorful lights - spend the time to figure it out - WORTH IT!
Love this wrist exercise ball. It takes about 5 minutes to get the motion required. Maybe there are some folks out there that will never be able to get a feel for it... sad for them. Once you do get it, you will be hooked. The lights are nice an bright... but if you think you will get a blue color (for example) when you spin it slowly and red when you go fast... YOU ARE WRONG. The lights are more like a random rainbow light show.
