I love the fruit and vegetables bars. I had not seen these in the store. I'm glad I have the on auto ship. They taste great

I got these for a grown up granddaughter for her kids. A special request was made by her for healthy snacks . We talked about how sugar occurs naturally in many fruits and vegetables and how ADDED SUGARS are made to meet the demands of customers. These added sugars might not be best for children or really grown ups either. (This would include high fructose corn syrup which is hidden in many foods these days). While this product does include sugar it also introduces the idea of beets and blueberries as a flavorful combo. I probably wouldn’t have bought except for the fact that it went on sale and I was hunting for healthy snack ideas. (Still hunting). You cannot tell you are eating a root veggie. It tastes like ALL blueberries which was a surprise. After these are eaten we’re going to try the apple/carrot fruit filling. These are advertised as “breakfast bars.” I think bigger breakfasts are needed and these would be better served as snacks.

I recently found this product, tried it and loved it so ordered a full case because I was not finding it in grocery markets. When I unpacked the box I saw that the BB Date was Dec 30, 2023. I am not crazed about these dates depending on the product but I always check the date before I purchase but that was not possible in this case. I will try one today to see how it is, I know they will be gone quickly so not too worried but will return if necessary. I think the dates on edible products should always be checked,

They are really good, don't even taste the beet in them

These are tasty and I can't even tell there are beets in them. I love them for a quick breakfast

These taste very similar to the standard Nutri grain bars, and taste more like "blueberry" than anything else. All the boxes of bars were fresh and arrived in good condition. However, there is only a very small amount of actual beets or blueberries in the bar recipe (see below).In the US, all ingredients are listed in order of quantity by weight. This means that the first ingredient listed was used the most, the second in the list was used the second most, etc. "Blueberry Puree Concentrate" and "Beet Puree" are all the way at the bottom of the list. Salt comes before these two ingredients.That means there is more salt in your granola bar than there is blueberries or beets. And this is a sweet granola bar. As long as you understand what you are eating, then it's a good snack.
