Was quite impressed with this remote - well made and works well (better than expected actually).For reference, I tested this on a A73 and A7R3 - same result on both - worked perfectly.Yes it works perfectly as an Intervalometer - has all the required timer functions and works as you would expect and is easy to set up and use if you have used an Intervalometer before.As for working in wired mode - this works well and as expected.The bonus features I haven't seen on many remotes are:✅ The W/T zoom buttons - only works if the zoom is NOT set to 'optical only'.✅ Grid Lines button - works as expected, press the button and it will scroll through displaying the different grid lines on the rear monitor.✅ Dormancy button - when the remote is used wired, this button will only work to turn the camera on IF the remote is switched on - therefore it must have batteries inserted to use this button when wired.✅ Dedicated camera and video buttons✅ There ISN'T A BULB SWITCH, but if you hold the camera button for 4 secs and then release, the trigger release says active and bulb exposures are possible.✅ When connected/wired to the camera WITHOUT having batteries and it will draw power from the camera - all but the dormancy button work perfectly when being powered by the camera.Negatives: Personally I prefer a physical bulb switch, instead of pressing and holding the trigger button for a number of seconds before bulb function kicks in. I use the physical bulb switch a lot for astro.Without discount, the price is £49.99 - and that I would say is too expensive, but overall, at £36.79 - that includes a 26% voucher (November 2023), I would say that is a fair price - works well and has some features above that of a basic remote.No reason not to rate 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ imho based on discounted price.

Quick and easy to set up and to link up to the camera and the network. Works well and delivers signals efficiently meaning photos are taken in the way they're intended to be and the end result is as desired.

This works well as a short-distance shutter remote. The cord is kinda short. But is is helpful for awkward positioning and maintaining a steady hand. Zoom functionality doesn't work for my cameras, but I'm a novice photographer. I won't use this much, but it is a handy accessory.

Ich habe den Fernauslöser für meine A6300 bestellt und bin soweit echt zufrieden! Vorallem wenn man die Kamera auf ein Stativ aufgestellt hat ist es eigentlich immer nervig für kleine einstellungen an der Kamera rumdrücken zu müssen und ich finde hier macht der Fernauslöser eine gute Alternative!Man kann natürlich nicht ALLES steuern was auf der Kamera sonst so einzustellen ist, aber die wichtigsten Funktionen funktionieren alle.Und ein besonders cooles extra ist natürlich die Funktion Zeitauslösung einzustellen, beziehungsweise Zeitraffer aufnahmen.Alles in allem für den Preis recht fair!

That's where this little tool comes in handy.I connected it to my Sony cameras and was able to use shutter control easily without disturbing the camera. It also has the video record button feature which came in useful for a few video shots as well.As far as the zoom buttons, that doesn't apply to cameras like mine that have the full 35 mm lenses that are manual soon. However those buttons do work with video cameras that have electronic zoom.Overall, it's a handy tool to have when you need that camera to be steady.

However, this just comes with the remote which you have to connect via a cable. The cable is like 1 ft long. So now I can remotely take a picture from 1 ft away from my camera button....woohoo.Honestly, it's not functional for me at all and serves no purpose. Maybe other people have a need for that functionality or maybe they have longer cables. Just make sure you know what you're getting before you buy this
