if you only care about it being waterproof then this should work fine for you. It does fit, and it did stay dry but the hinge and lock quality seem a bit suspect. limited use like a vacation should be fine but if you intend to use it often I would look for something else. Another issue was I had a vibration and noise with the case one, im guessing it's a bit off in some dimension, or it's the lock, but as long as you don't use it on anything motorized it shouldn't be an issue. I had it on my side by side when I noticed it. Considering the price I would still say go for it if you need a bit more protection on a trip or something like that.

There are many action camera accessories around that can be interchangeable between systems, but it has only been recently that I have started to see dedicated accessories for my DJI Action 3.Now, even though I don't go diving I do use it in rivers and such like. Even though the DJI Action 3 is waterproof to 16m I liked the idea of giving it some protection from bumps and knocks. So, I ordered it.The case arrived and even at first glance it appeared well made. The case comes with a quick release buckle mount, and I was pleased to see that it had cold shoes both on the top and on the side making it easy to attach waterproof LED lights.The case itself appears to be a high-quality plastic but the lens area is made from tempered glass and is extremely clear. The DJI Action 3 will be well protected inside the case which is what I was after.The case is good down to 40m or 131 feet and even though I doubt I will ever go that deep it is reassuring that the degree of waterproofing is that good.Opening the case up I could slide the DJI Action 3 in without any issue. It was not loose in there but a good, snug, fit. It was also not necessary to remove the lens cover prior to insertion.Overall, I am pleased with the quality and the price of this housing. If you have a DJI Action 3 and go diving, or simply use it in water or very wet conditions, then this is a good choice of protective case.
