I have arthritic pain in both hands in Trapezium joint (bottom of the thumb) and needed something to restrict movement and support across that joint. I've bought just one Thumb Brace to try. It arrived and I put it on my right hand first because thats the worst pain currently. Within a couple of hours I've found relief without pain killers - wonderful. So now I'll try it on the other hand (this brace is ambidextrous) if it produces the same result I'll order a second brace. As others have said - its well made, detailed quality stitching, proper velcro, and not the cheap stuff. The key features I looked for, were: • A minimal profile overall so it doesn't cover and restrict any other part of my hand, palm or wrist. • Swapable internal support struts. This brace has a flat wound spring (which I'm using) and a rigid metal support in case of more serious injury. • High quality production values (stitching, materials, design, physical shape). In summary: This brace is one of the cheaper units offered here on Amazon, but it has given me almost immediate relief. In my humble opinion this is excellent value for money and I can't recommend it enough for the issue I suffer with.

Reliable, comfortable, and well made I bought this thumb brace to help with joint pain and tendon irritation. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. The design is simple and easy to put on – it fits either hand without any faff, and once in place, it stays secure without being too bulky or restrictive. The material is breathable and comfortable enough to wear for longer periods. The stitching is neat, and the overall build quality feels solid. It offers firm support thanks to the two metal splints, but it still allows enough movement in the rest of the hand to go about your day. It’s also easy to wash and has held its shape and structure after a gentle machine wash. Good quality product, well priced, and it does exactly what it says it will. I’d happily recommend it to anyone needing reliable thumb support.

Well made support with adjustable velcro straps , true to size chart . I bought mine following a football hand injury and have just used it to play badminton first time in 5 weeks . Very supportive . It has the option of a fixed bar inside or a spring . I`ve only used the spring . I would recommend you use a plaster over your thumb first as it can chaff the skin .

Fits very neatly. The fabric part is strong. The velcro fixes firmly. The end of the thumb part has a stretchy elasticated part beneath the cover, which holds it securely on my thumb. The thumb end and wrist strap are adjustable. The fabric is breathable, not sweaty so far. It’s supplied with 2 different metal bar supports which slide neatly into the thumb bit. One support is flexible. The other is firm with a bend in it. What’s handy is the bar can slide in long end or short end first, so you can have the thumb supported closer to or further from the side of the hand, which has been great for my badly arthritic and hypermobile, subluxed thumb. I have had several supports via the NHS and Amazon, beige, black and blue ones! This is definitely the best so far.

Comfortable and helps pain especially at night

Acquistato per pollice a scatto che ormai era molto dolorante e gonfio. Ricevuto ieri , lo indosso da 24 ore e ho sentito da subito sollievo. Il dito questa mattina era già sgonfio. Aiuta ad evitare movimenti che aumenterebbero l’infiammazione. Il polpastrello rimane libero e ai riesce a fare cose, guidare. Lo tolgo solo per cucinare e per lavarmi per non sporcarlo ne bagnarlo. Ottimo acquisto nonostante il costo contenuto. Ho le mani grandi ma la taglia S/M è perfetta come da consiglio per le taglie del produttore.

Très pratique et facile à mettre. Deux possibilités une barre qui bloque complètement le pouce et la deuxième permet de bouger légèrement le pouce. Bon maintien et reste bien en place. Je recommande ce produit. Cordialement RMK
