Can i order replacement batteries

I don't see the original (OEM) Dyson battery available on Amazon yet, but it can be purchased directly from Dyson (Part No. 970938-01). It looks like some of the V11 batteries are also a match, but you will need to get the right fit.

Can the vacuum cleaner move back and forth

Yes the vacuum moves back and forth and side ways along a curvy base board too. I love my Dyson V15. Excellent suction and hair pick up without binding hair around the vacuum parts.

How loud is it? How many decibels does it put out?

It seems quieter than previous Dyson's that I have owned.
