Corelle Vitrelle Glass Dinnerware Set, Chip & Crack Resistant Triple Layer Glass, 4-PC Bowl, Crimson Trellis (Pack of 4)

I bought the normal everyday use version of these without the red stripe because they were cheaper. They were from China. Don't understand it but within a year 5 out of 6 had splay chipped rims. My Vitriol ones, like these are made in Corning NY. They don't chip. They are darn near bulletproof. Very happy. Yes they are expensive but these are really lifetime everyday use items. And with only a red rim, they match most all of the red patterns just fine. I liked them so much I bought another set off ebay used for 1/3 the price.
