I was after this for a long time but it was very expensive at the time, but Amazon done a very good deal that I couldn't resist plus £200 off if I did in two days so I got it, I'm not disappointed with AWOL 3000 pro in fact I'm over the moon with it 100 times better than my optoma cinemax p2 , AWOL is very fast and quiet and the picture quality is amazing in my eyes, and the 3D is very good 👍 I got over 100 3D movies so I'm very happy as it's getting very hard now to get 3D, Now I'm moving into 4k movies just the top 100 movies, I'm setting in my room now watching Aliens in 4K UltraHD it's like it was made today, I got a full set up with the sonos in my room as the AWOL as hdmi earc wow a lot better than my optoma cinemax p2 as this one just had arc. Yes I'm very happy 😊

Great bit of kit just love it

Amazing UST projector. Very bright for a projector, I combined it with a Nothing ALR projector (132inch) and it is brilliant, even with sun shining through a light curtain onto the screen the movie can be watched. I wish it had more than the three HDMI inputs but I can live with that. An additional bonus is the ability to watch 3D movies which are also a treat to watch with the projector because of the size though not as crisp as on my LG OLED of old but I doubt that you can find a better projector for 3D. I use external speakers which I would recommend though the build-in speakers are useful and loud. I was able to avoid the build-in screen adjustment and utilised moving the projector into the right place and height, the 4 individually adjustable feet are very helpful for that. Be mindful that unless you have full flexibility in regards where your screen goes, you need to adjust the distance from the screen as well as the height of the projector to ensure the picture fills your screen correctly. Look out for a cabinet that accommodates for it. I got a relatively cheap cabinet from John Lewis but had top take out internal structure, add new adjustable pillars inside (got off amazon) and had to leave the back of the cabinet open, but it now works perfectly. In combination with the motorised sliding platform you just press on via whatever movie player you use (like Amazon Firestick) and it turns on and slides out, super easy to use. Works easily out of the box and there are many Youtube videos to help you setup for perfection though I did not really play around with a more detailed setup yet.

First dead pixel popped up within 1 month of normal use (1-2 hours a day). I cannot find any information here on how to rectify this fault, or whether it is covered by warranty. The unit was easy to setup and adjust to my needs, however quality seems rather mediocre for the price and I'm not sure how long this thing will last - above £1500 I was expecting at least 3 good years. Disappointed.

I purchased an item during a Black Friday sale, and after approximately 30 minutes of use, the display suddenly turned off. Subsequently, the display would illuminate for about 10 seconds before turning off again. It appears that the Black Friday deal involved refurbished products, and I also noticed that a Fire Stick, which was expected to be included, was missing from the box. It seems I received a used and returned item that was sold as new.

This is a very impressive ultra-short-throw projector for the money, by which I mean the price after discount. It's currently listed at £3699, but there's a £1300 discount voucher on ht eproduct page, taking the effective price to £2399. At this level, it's a great buy.This is not a small unit. It measures 60cm x 35cm x 15cm. It needs to be between 15cm and 50cm from the surface onto which it's projecting, depending on the size of image required. At 50 cm, the screen size is 150 inches, which is *big*. It also weighs aroung 9kg.It's pretty easy to set up, and the instructions that come with it are actually very good, with a detailed guide to getting the picture geometry right. It has a concealed compartment at the rear, containing 1 HDMI socket and 1 USB socket, with enough room inside for a streaming stick. A Fire TV 4K Max TV is included in the package. This all works really well, and keeps the stick neatly out of sight. The fire TV remote works well with the stick inside the compartment.Picture quality is very good indeed, and colour balance is good, with plenty of adjustment and calibration options available. The display is not bright enough for use in strong sunlight, and it works best in a room that is darkened or has low-intensity lighting. Brightness is better using an ambient-light-rejecting screen.Sound quality is reasonable. The unit is Dolby Atmos capable, but with no external speaker drivers, it's never going to be the full surround experience. I suspect that many users of this unit will have an additional surround sound system anyway, so this isn't crucial.I was keen to try the 3D feature of this projector, and found that it worked well with HDMI sources, but less well, or not at all with other sources. I couldn't get it to work with DLNA material, for example (although 2D DLNA was fine). In addition, the 3D features felt like a recently bolted-on addition to the operating system, as if they hadn't originally been present, so it is to be hoped that this will improve with a future firmware update.It's too laggy to use for gaming, which is a pity, because Xbox displays look really spectacular on it.I found the overall experience of using the projector very satisfying. Movies feel immersive, and the whole experience does have a very cinematic vibe. WIth a good screen and a good sound system, it's hugely enjoyable to use, and I still find myself wanting to watch films much more than I would have before it arrived.With the discount voucher, I think it's very hard to beat at the price.Recommended.

I purchased the 3500 projector and created a home cinema with an ALR screen I did research this projector on YouTube and in my opinion is one of the best projectors I’ve ever seen. Iam projecting onto a 120” floor raising screen and are hoping that a 150” screen will be available soon it’s just like sitting in the cinemaI work in the film and television industry so have seen a lot of projectors and this one I would say comes up to the standards of a large LED screenMost of the projectors that I have seen don’t have a built in sound system this one does and I have never seen any that can be used in a lit room I’ve used the 3D system which is fantasticAnyone think of buying a projector should checkout the demonstration on YouTube before you buy, I would put this projector at the top of the listWell done AWOL for a top of the range projector I don’t think anyone else could better this oneThe picture is taken in a fully lit room

We've been researching this product for over a year and finally decided to go for it, and I'm glad we did. Amazon had an amazing deal on for Black Friday so we bought it.The sound is good quality but would definitely benefit more with a soundbar. The picture quality is amazing and we're projecting on to a wall, I can't wait to see what it's like on a screen. Highly recommend this Ultra short throw projector.

Ottimo e spettacolare, addirittura proiettato sul muro semplice si vedono peli e capelli singoli. Luce a bizzeffe, accensione istantanea e menù molto semplice e fluido. Per la multimedialità è inclusa una chiavetta Amazon Stick, ma potete usare una sorgente esterna tramite HDMI o una chiavetta vostra (che sia 4k sennò, eventuale materiale 4k, non verrà ottimizzato. Super silenzioso

Schwierige Montage, bis das Bild gut passt, ich nutze das Gerät als Ersatz zum bisherigen Monitor. Im Tisch-Projektsionsmodus, dabei muss die höhe des Tisches mit Länge der Leinwand und Raumhöhe Stimmen.

Gleich vorweg, diese Bewertung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf den genannten Projektor - nicht die Kombination mit der bodenaufsteigenden Leinwand, obwohl ich beide Produkte von Awol gekauft habe. Zur Leinwand - die ich definitiv zur Steigerung der Bildqualität empfehle - gibt es eine separate Bewertung.Die Fragen, die ich mir vor dem Kauf gestellt habe, waren:- Kann ein solcher Laser TV meinen 65 Zoll Panasonic OLED ersetzen und mit einer enormen Bildschirmgröße das perfekte Heimkino liefern?- Ist eine problemlose Integration mit meinem Apple Tv 4k möglich und die Einbindung meiner Sonos Arc über eArc?- Wie steht es mit der Performance im hellen Raum, da ich bewusst den „großen“ Bruder mit 3.500 Lumen aus Kostengründen nicht kaufen wollteDer Awol Vision LTV 3000 Pro kommt toll verpackt daher. Ich habe ihn während der EM zum Sonderpreis von 2.999 Euro erworben - inkl. 2 3D Brillen sowie 150 Euro Rabatt über amazon. Das war für mich ausschlaggebend, mehr würde ich für einen Projektor aktuell nicht bezahlen. Sicher kann der Awol 3500 mehr in Sachen Lichtleistung - Stand jetzt bin ich aber 100% zufrieden.Im Paket selbst befindet sich neben diversen Kabeln und einer schicken Fernbedienung noch ein Fire TV Stick. Das ist wichtig, da sich Awol dazu entschieden hat, keine eigenen Streaming Apps in den Projektor zu integrieren. Ich finde das gut, da ich bei meinem OLED sowieso Apple Tv 4k nutze. Der Fire Stick kann beim Awol auf der Rückseite über HDMI in einem Fach verstaut werden - die Integration klappte im Test gut. Habe dann aber auf Apple TV umgestellt, was ebenfalls ohne Probleme ging.Dolby Atmos an meine Sonos Arc wurde problemlos über eArc weiter gegeben. Man kann sich natürlich auf die Lautsprecher des Awol verlassen. Diese sind ok; wer sich aber einen solchen Projektor für‘s Heimkino zulegt, sollte auch in eine gute Soundbar investieren.Zum Bild: Die Farbtreue ist klasse und das Bild lebhaft und hell! Im angehängten Bild kommt das nicht 100% rüber. Awol bietet zahlreiche Einstellungen für das Bild - sogar einen Filmmodus mit 24 fps. Für mich alles sehr intuitiv bedienbar - wenn auch die deutsche Übersetzung hier und da nicht passt. Dolby Vision über Apple Tv+ oder Netflix sieht super aus - vor allem im Modus hell. Wer möchte, kann sich Farben auch selbst einstellen, ich habe mich an die Default Einstellungen gehalten, die vor allem im Filmmodus toll sind.Ich empfehle auch allen die Kombination mit einer ALR Leinwand! Natürlich funktioniert alles auch auf weißer Wand. Auf meiner Raufasertapete wirkt das Bild bei weiten nicht so kräftig. Die Bewertung der Awol Leinwand erfolgt wie gesagt separat.Nun zur Kernfrage: Kann der Projektor einen Fernseher ersetzen? Für mich ein klares „kommt darauf an“!Bei einer 100 Zoll Leinwand sollte mindestens ein Abstand von 3,5 - 4m gegeben sein. Ich fand, dass man sonst leicht die Strukturen der Leinwand erkennt. Bei 100 Zoll erschlägt einen das Bild - im positive Sinn! Kinofeeling garantiert - auch in 3D (im Test mit Avatar 2 - und ja, 3D ist auch für mich eine tote Sache im Kino).Aber: Schwarzwerte und Helligkeit kommt mit Sicherheit nicht an einen Top-Line OLED ran, das sollte jedem bewusst sein! Nachts bei abgedunkeltem Raum ist der Abstand nur marginal - und im Hinblick auf die 100 Zoll bevorzuge ich den Projektor. Tagsüber ist das Bild gut, ich kann damit leben und habe natürlich nicht den Vergleich zum teureren Awol 3500. Dazu kommt, dass mein OLED im Tageslicht auch zu Spiegelungen neigt.Ein OLED oder ein guter LED TV mit 100 Zoll und mehr (dran denken, dass der Projektor bis zu 150 Zoll kann - sofern die Wandfläche ausreicht!) ist heute noch kaum erschwinglich. Im System mit der Leinwand habe ich knapp 4.500 Euro bezahlt, dafür gibt es von Panasonic max. einen 77 Zoll OLED.Dazu kommt, dass das Gewicht eines Fernsehers in dieser Größe nichts mehr für meine Trockenbauwand wäre ;-)Beachtet auch, dass ihr ein entsprechendes Setup im Wohnzimmer braucht! Für ein 100 Zoll Bild muss der Projektor ca. 28cm von der Wand wegstehen; das Gerät selbst ist ca. 32cm tief, so dass ihr mind. 60cm Abstand benötigt. Prüft auch unbedingt die Höhe eures Sideboards vs. Höhe der Leinwand bevor ihr euch das Gerät zulegt. Um das perfekte Bild einzustellen braucht ihr auch ein wenig Geduld. Infos dazu gibt es zahlreich im Netz.Für mich ist der Awol 3000 der perfekte Nachfolger meines OLED. Habe mich vor dem Kauf lange informiert, da Awol auch eine eher unbekannte Firma ist. Kaufgrund waren dann die durchweg positiven Bewertungen und die Tatsache, dass der Projektor neben HDR10+ auch Dolby Vision als einer der wenigen Projektoren kann in Verbindung mit 4k (auch wenn nur hochskaliert und nicht nativ). Gaming habe ich nicht getestet - ich nutze es mehr für Heimkino und mittlerweile auch normales TV Programm.Ich kann den Awol 3000 empfehlen, empfehle aber auch allen, die sich bei einem Laser TV nicht sicher sind, vorher ein Fachgeschäft aufzusuchen und das Bild zu beurteilen.
