Grass Burn Spot Chews - Dog Urine Neutralizer for Lawn - Grass Green, Rocks

I was using a previous brand that no longer had amazon subscribe and save so switched to these. They smell ok (not as good as the previous) but the dog seems to still enjoy them as a daily treat. I haven't seen any new brown spots in the backyard (the previous brand worked but every so often I would find a brown spot). Jury is out until I've used it more long term but for now, seems like it is working well. I like how Amazon asks about flavor. Considering my dog is willing to eat other animals poop I don't know that her eating this is any indication that the flavor is good; and I am certainly not going to try it. Also I know nothing about ingredient quality nor do I trust any label that is on animal food/treats because it is not regulated by the FDA. So take those ratings with a grain of.....kibble.

This product slowed the discoloration Of grass from my dogs urine. My dog loves these too. He eats them like a treat while makes it so easy to administer.

My dog turned 4 at the end of October, and just within the past year, she started killing grass with her urine. She's a small breed, so we only give her a half tablet at a time - and it's obvious that she really enjoys the flavor! It was one thing to have brown spots in the yard when we were renting a house, but we just bought a new home in July. Now that it's November, our grass is turning brown in places - but not in the areas she can reach when she goes out on the lead to go potty. All in all, I am SUPER impressed, & I highly recommend you give them a try, too!

The value just isn’t there. It works but if giving the dog the required amount, you run out pretty quickly and the lawn once again has dead spots. Keeping a good supply at had would be cost prohibitive.

They worked for me. So happy to have less white spots in my grass. I still get some but they are much much lighter and my dogs are feeling much better. I got these for My grass the dog health is a noticeable bonus and I would continue even without the grass improvement. Also they love the taste. I chose this brand because of positive taste reviews as my dogs can be finicky and they dance in the morning for these treats ( that are medicine). The only bad thing is now I’m stuck spending another $20 a month on my mutts but it’s worth it.

Have been giving to my dog for two months now and see a great reduction in brown spots in my lawn. They are not completely gone but help a ton. Will continue to use dog likes them as well.

We have two dogs who go to the bathroom in the same area all the time. We got these chews hoping it would help to alleviate some of the damage the have done to the grass, little did we know they would love them! This has not totally eliminated the brown spots, but it has helped to diminish them and the dogs love them. I call it a win.

12/23 Edit: Despite faithfully using the product per directions every day, brown spots everywhere in the yard. Can't really recommend. For our dog, a 1 year old Vizsla female, this product has been excellent. Some important points: first and foremost, it requires patience for the product to make a noticeable overall difference in your lawn. If your lawn is already covered in urine burn marks, they don't magically go away. Only time and rain and/or watering to dilute the PH of the spots will do that. In other words, the product does nothing to correct existing damage. It only prevents further damage from new spots. So, you won't see an overall improvement in the lawn for quite a while, depending upon conditions. Second point: the product works by changing the PH of your dog's urine. Its effectiveness is dependent upon your specific dog's urine PH and the PH of your soil. It may not work for every dog/lawn combination out there, but it's definitely worth a shot. (We are in the red clay soil area of Virginia -- definitely works there.)
