I’ve tried a few steering wheel locks over the years, and this Tevlaphee Twin Bar Lock is easily one of the most solid I’ve used. Right out of the box, it feels durable and heavy-duty—in a good way. The construction is thick, the mechanism is smooth, and the high-visibility design makes it immediately clear to anyone looking into the car that it’s protected.Installation is very straightforward: adjust to fit, snap it into place, and lock. It takes less than ten seconds, and it fits securely without wobbling. The adjustable length is great because it works across different vehicles in my household. It comes with three keys, which is a nice bonus for keeping spares.Once locked, the twin-bar design makes it very hard for the steering wheel to move in either direction. Very solid piece of kit and, unlike others I’ve used, it’s so easy to put on and take off. I was concerned at previous comments re the locking system but I’ve really put it through its paces and have had no issues at all with locking and unlocking. It’s great that it can be adjusted to fit most car steering wheels - I have a Kia Picanto and had no problems fitting it. The lock is very sturdy and it is a comfort having something like this in the car to deter possible break ins. Overall I think this is a great product that is good value for money - so much so, I’m looking at getting another one for a relative!

Edit update 29/4/2026Still working well.No jamsGood bit of kit.I like it.Fits over my nissan notes wheel perfectlyI noted the reviews about windscreen damageI fit mine bar towards gear stick .No issues at all with windscreen .I also noted the jammed reviews, mine slide perfectly.For those less quick to think like meOnce unlocked you simply fit bar side to wheel, then pull the other pronged end, and fit to opposite side of steering wheel.tightening only with hands .I was inserting key again and then locking once I thought it was in place, only for the lock to slide slightly on steering wheel, leaving it still secured but looser than I preferred it to be.Now, using just my hands once it's unlocked and off the wheel, I get an easier and much tighter fitFelt tough & sturdy.Hopefully it never gets truly testedAnd visually, like any such bar it offers a deterrent to any opportunist thief making them choose a less well defended vehicle..London based here, and I spot a lot of high end cars with similar devices, all for the same reason.NB pic is from first fitting , I now reverse how I fit it on carHappy buyer here

Item as described and arrived very quickly.Lets be honest, this will not stop a professional criminal from stealing your car however it adds another layer of protection and may stop you being targeted in the first place as it is a deterrent device.Universal fit works well over my steering wheel and closes relatively small so does not take up much room in your boot. Happy with the product overall. I would have liked to have seen both of the chrome bars locking on the device however only one does, the other is freely sliding. This would mean a criminal would only have to make one cut to remove the item.Supplied with 3 keys which is useful. Yellow sections are rubber dipped so they wont cause any damages/scratches to internal plastics.

Have used this steering lock (almost) daily since I got the car, almost a year and a half ago and am more than pleased with it. It is sturdy and operates reliably and easily. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone looking to secure their car against theft.

I’d just bought my son his first car. Nothing flashy, low insurance, but nearly new. Yes it has an immobiliser, alarm etc. but alongside telling him the importance of leaving nothing on show, and nothing of value in it, he began to worry it might get targeted for theft.A steering lock was a simple way of giving him the visual feedback it was safe. With the added bonus of making any joyrider think twice too.After looking at several steering wheel locks, I settled on this brand as it had a. Sturdy steel frame, dimple lock (harder to pick) came in a visually striking yellow (though more subtle colours were available) and a price point that wasn’t crazy expensive. And you get 3 keys!It feels strong, and has a good range from locked fully closed to open, so would fit any steering wheel. So hopefully, when he decides to get a new car down the line, he can still use this lock.I am really happy with how it feels, and is definitely secure once in place. And it’s not so big it takes up room when not being used. We are both extremely happy with this lock and will be recommending it to friends and family.

Antirrobo de tipo bloqueo con dos barras de material compacto y totalmente robusto e irrompible. Tiene el detalle de que la parte que toca el volante está revestida de PVC para evitar que se dañe el material del volante. Tiene un peso considerable para su seguridad. Es muy fácil de poner. Lo hemos comprado para un coche que no tiene demasiadas medidas de seguridad y nos estamos tranquilos con el antirrobo. Contentos con la compra

I’ve used it for a bit over a week so far and it’s worked very well. It is much heavier duty than our previous wheel lock. It is solid and easy to use. We also appreciate that it is brightly colored and easily seen on our steering wheel.

Ho comprato questo antifurto per la macchina di mia moglie, perchè non é più nuovissima eppure l'assicurazione da furto costa sempre di più a ogni rinnovo.Ho visto in giro diversi tipi di blocchi simili a questo, ma la cosa che mi ha convinto ad acquistarlo é stata la serratura. Non c'è la classica serratura dei lucchetti da scooter, c'è una serratura di sicurezza molto particolare che mi ha ispirato subito fiducia (vedi foto).Altro lato positivo é che, a differenza di altri che ho visto in negozi fisici, qui non c'è la serratura di plastica, questo blocco é tutto in metallo e il peso di ben 2Kg credo parli molto chiaro, con questo coso non si scherza. Non dico che può essere usato come arma di difesa in casi estremi ma all'occorrenza va bene anche per quello.L'ho provato sulla Toyota Aygo di mia moglie e si installa molto facilmente, ma penso che su tutte le macchine possa andare bene basta agganciarlo da una parte ed estenderlo finché non si aggancia dall'altro lato. La chiave serve solo per aprire e ce ne sono ben tre in confezione.L'ho preso giallo perchè risalta, non é troppo ingombrante e ho voluto un colore che si vedeva bene perché sono convinto che possa fare molto bene anche da deterrente (tra rubare la mia auto con lo sterzo bloccato e una libera...).Insomma, alla fine mia moglie l'ha provato e ha deciso di utilizzarlo da subito, lo tiene sotto al sedile del passeggero e non ne farà più a meno. Purtroppo per chi gira molto nelle città grandi o chi in generale non ha un garage questi antifurto sono diventati un qualcosa che devi proprio avere.Lo consiglio? Sì perchè ha davvero una consistenza elevata, si vede che non é un giocattolo e ha anche un supporto post vendita se dovesse servire, cosa non scontata. Infine buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, la qualità si paga. E poi penso sia anche un buon deterrente.
