There's not a lot one can say about cables except whether they are value for money. I decided to buy Belkin instead of bargain basement for no real reason. Thunderbolt 3 cables are far too expensive right now. This is why I rate it as not being value for money. I needed one, so I bought one.

Belkin is a trusted brand and this cable doesn't disappoint. It is well made and appears durable, good length, comes in all sorts of options and colour varieties, it is reliable and provides charging and fast data transfer. It comes in a smart box, this is higher end of the cable market and fully worth extra cost. Smart layering of the cable itself reduces interferences and plugs at each end are reinforced. Everything about this cable says quality and it will serve well for time to come... or at least until some other standard comes along.

This Is a thunderbolt cable and not just USB; and Belkin marked it as such with a lightning bolt on the ends of the cables - hopefully that becomes a standard for all thunderbolt cables. USB3 / Thunderbolt is a bit of a mess; you cant tell from the connectors what a cable is capable of doing. Thunderbolt if your devices support it is 4x quicker for data than USB-C; but more importantly for my use thunderbolt can carry 100w of power; which means I can power my laptop over the cable. At 0.5m the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 cable solved a cable mess for me. 0.5m was exactly the right length of cable I need to drive my 5k monitor without having a mess of extra cable. The cable itself is reasonably well made - its definitely not as good quality in the hand as the Belkin Duratek cables; there is an almost apple-esque strain reliever for as the cable meets the connector. For my use though - a monitor / power cable - I don't need the extra ruggedness that I like in the duratek cables when i'm travelling. The 0.5m cable made my desk that little bit tidier and it still delivered on the power and data throughput that thunderbolt 3 promises.

This is an actual Thunderbolt 3 cable, so if you have USB C devices that won't connect at full speed to your mac thunderbolt ports, this will do the trick and give you the full speed for USB devices. Also works well with regular thunderbolt equipment.

Tengo un eGPU conectada a un Macbook pro 2017 13” Touch Bar, con el anterior cable la eGPU se caía constantemente, con va perfecto ya no tengo los problemas de conexión que no se conectaba a la primera. Por otra parte, teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de distintos tipos de señales que puede manejas este conector "Thunderbolt 3", creo que es mejor comprar un cable que de garantías de cumplir las especificaciones y sea capaz de trabajar a las velocidades y resoluciones máximas sin problemas, y con este, para los distintos usos que lo he probado, solo me ha dado satisfacciones

This cable can connect my M1 MacBook Pro to my Dell 27in 4K monitor. Original Dell USB C cable not stable. Working well so far.
