I simply love this showerhead. It's metal, not plastic, and that says a lot about its quality right off the bat. The polished stainless steel is beautiful. The size is perfect for me, great water pressure and a really nice flow from every single nozzle. I like the soft nozzles that you can clear of calcium deposits with a simple brush of a finger. Easy to install, included washer worked wonderfully so that just finger tight there are no leaks. Nice adjustment range for leveling it out as well. The quality is impressive. Actual metal, polished to a chrome like finish, not chrome painted plastic like so many others. This showerhead should hold up for years. It's like standing in a warm rain shower with a perfect coverage area. I honestly believe this is the perfect size rainfall showerhead. Larger seems to waste water so you run out of hot water quickly, smaller just doesn't feel right. This size is the best of both worlds. I highly recommend this showerhead.

After being in our home for 4 years, one of the things that disappointed me most was the water pressure when taking a shower. We had a standard shower head and it was frankly not impressive. I visited a friend’s house and saw they had built a new bathroom and they had this shower head. The water flow was amazing! I told him I was so impressed with his shower head and water pressure and wish I had a few hundred bucks to make that adjustment in my bathroom. He let me in on a secret that he spent about 30 bucks for this shower head and extension arm. I did research and saw favorable reviews so I took the plunge, and I’m so glad I did. It was a little hard removing the old shower head but installing this was about as simple as screwing something on clockwise. I did notice a little leakage from where the pipe meets the shower head, so I unscrewed it and wrapped some of the white tape that came with the shower ahead around the grooves of the shower pipe and screwed the shower head back on. The power and speed that water came out was crazy! I really thought I’d have to install some device in the house to get that kind of power. The size of the head covered me quickly in water and I feel like my shower time will be cut in half from the size of the head and how quickly it sprays. It’s a forceful spray! I’m simply kicking myself for not getting this sooner. If I had one complaint, it would be that the shower head doesn’t tilt very much. So due to the angle of the shower pipe, the shower head points at a high angle toward the back of the shower. It’s fine because my wife and I are tall, but I just put in an order for the extended arm so that there will be no complaints.. If your shower experience is sad and your shower head has been nothing but disappointing, do yourself a favor and change your life with this shower head. I’m so glad I did. UPDATE: I got the extension arm and combined with this, I’m 100% satisfied. The arm makes it a bit more flexible. My wife loves it too. Inexpensive but has made a huge impact on the showering experience.

2.5gpm is plenty of flow. This is the best rain head we've had in 10yrs of that style. Rinse the soap off in seconds. This one is also peculiar that the water does not spray, but literally falls like rain. Most spray the water and then the water holds onto the nozzles when the water is shut off. This one allows the water to pull back into the head and drain out of the tub faucet. The benefit of this is that the water doesn't hang onto the nozzles and create a film. After 2 weeks, the face of the shower head still has zero water spots, calcium build up, or film. It looks like I just installed it. And by the water falling instead of spraying, the steam/mist is half what the prior rain can emitted. The bathroom is cleaner as a result.

This shower head is a great value. It does have better pressure than most other rain heads, it can be used on the standard short 45 degree arm without losing flow from the uphill nozzles (I’ve tried half a dozen different ones and almost all of them lose flow from nearly half of the nozzles and negate the point of a large diameter). That said, this is NOT a true rain head. I suspect that’s why it’s able to be used at the 45 degree angle while other rain heads are not. The nozzles put out a very thin water stream like what you would find in a typical cheap compact or handheld head. So essentially it’s more of a hybrid with the water stream of a handheld but the coverage of a rain head. My fiancé absolutely LOVED this thing, he’s 6’4” and this is the first shower head that’s given him decent full body coverage. Unfortunately this head didn’t have enough oomph to rinse long hair in anything less than an eternity. I say oomph and not pressure, because some of the rain heads we tried that were lower pressure ended up rinsing my hair much better because of the thicker streams of water found in a real rain head. The thicker water streams also feel much nicer on the skin. Also, a big difference I noticed between this shower head and every other one I’ve ever used is temperature. I take hot showers and am always warm with the steam when I step out of the water to lather up, but this shower head never heated the air in the shower well so I was constantly turning the water temp up throughout a 20 min shower. It was so bad I thought maybe it was something to do with the bathroom in our new house being poorly insulated! But as soon as we switched shower heads the problem went away. I haven’t needed to adjust the temp more than once during a shower, if at all, with any of the others we’ve tried in the same bathroom. Lots of minor to moderate annoyances, but if you want broad coverage without having to change out a standard shower arm or use an extension this really is a great shower head. I’m determined enough that we’re attempting to change out the shower arm next to work with a real rain head, but if that doesn’t work out this is still on my radar as a vetted backup plan.

Not sure what they did in the head but this creates an excellent shower stream with very little water pressure. Impressive, as it seems to save water at the same time as allowing our on demand water heater to heat the water quickly. Impressive all round.

All I can say is wow and my words coming out of the shower unbelievably wow. I'm averaging replacing my showerhead every 3 to 4 maybe 5 years out of it. because of the hard deposits in the water, the clog up the heads. I tried a different one off Amazon a few days ago just didn't have the power even taking the restrictor out of it. The handheld wand that came with other one was good. I kept that I'm gonna keep the other one that I didn't use for someplace else but this shower ordered the 8 inch one is unbelievable. It comes with a restrictor in a bag not installed you won't need it.. I suggest ordering a shower diverting valve. It's meant to hook up the shower wand if you have it cause even if you find this is too strong you can cut down the pressure once you get your water, hot and cold adjusted without having to touch that Amazon has the diverting valves . I'm gonna order a second one even though I don't have a second shower or another home so down the line I have it in stock for the price you can't go wrong. I didn't wanna get out of the shower. Haven't had a shower like that in over a year. Just like when you find a shirt or a pair of shoes that fit just right usually buy a second pair that's what I'm doing.

Great shower head, decent flow rate and water volume. just wish they also sold a 30cm matte black ceiling shower arm as well... all the matte black shower arms are either short ceiling mounts, or wall mounts (in south africa at least)
