Pace Ghost Pepper Habanero Extra Hot Salsa, 16 oz Jar

This is my goto salsa in this price range. Pace salsa has always been well made in my opinion. The size of the veggies and the slight thickness to the sauce makes it great for dipping or topping/filling foods. It won't just run off and hit your lap or shirt on the way to your mouth...usually. The veggies look and taste freshly made. Crisp yet soft and the individual flavors stand out. This Pace Ghost Pepper Habanero Salsa version is no exception and while not being nearly as hot as the raw pepper it actually has a bite to it. The heat is not overwhelming and accents the flavors well. I am a fan of the sweetness of Habanero peppers and the flavors in this salsa just burst out. I eat this with eggs, chicken, beef, beans, cheese, stews, wraps, Zombie Apocalypse and other sauces... I'd possibly pair it with some ice cream lol. It's just good food. I'm considering trying it with shrimp as of writing this. If jalapenos are too spicy for you I would avoid this one but if you like a little heat this one tastes really good.

Hot product but more than just hot for the sake of hot. Also has a good flavor. Good in tacos, strong as chips and salsa. When eating this, keep tissues nearby.

Happy to have found a store brand salsa that has some heat!

I hope that Pace and Amazon keep this items in stock.. It's got just the right amount of "heat" for a serious pepper lover. It is hard to find in stores in my area.

Flavor is great! But not as spicy as I thought it would be.

I never see any actual hot sauces or sauces in our grocery stores. This has a little kick to it but it's not what I would have expected out of habanero and ghost pepper. The spice is decent but doesnt linger, which is nice out of a salsa you're eating a lot of with chips or tacos. If a jalapeno is a 5 (fresh, not canned), habanero a 7 and a ghost pepper an 8, it's probably a 4. Some good heat out of an affordable off the shelf salsa, but would definitely be disappointing for hot heads. Taste is what I'd expect from a store bought salsa. Heat was decent but nothing close to habanero or ghost pepper, though hot enough where the wife and kid won't get into it.

Best tasting spicy salsa we have used and i keep buying it regulary to use at home. If it gets too spicy can be mixed with regular salsa. Definetly a hit with my family.
