Economical Solution
Compact and working well for photo emulsion experiments. Following the Speedball exposure recommendations with this light are producing great results.

Perfect exposure!
Don't use the recommended expure time unless using the Diazo kit from speedball. Times will depend in the emulsion. I coated the screen, waited 24 hours, then placed my transparent film on the back with glass on top of it to hold in place. I tried everything from 12 to 20 seconds before getting the correct time setting.

Works Well, But Opt For Higher Wattage
I use this lamp to expose cyanotype prints. It works well, but at 30 Watts, it takes 6-12 minutes to make a print from a 3x5 photographic negative, which is about the same as sunlight. Next time I'll opt for a 100 W source or higher to cut my exposure time a bit.

Super cheap!
Do you know the old adage you get what you pay for, nothing could be more true for this particular product. It is so cheap that I have to use duct tape to hold it in place because the screw at the base does not screw in tight enough to actually hold it upright. Terrible product
