Doesn't really stick to any of my car surfaces

I tried several times on several surfaces and it would not stick under its own weight, finally got to the point it wouldn’t stick at all! I suggest buying an alternative product that uses 3M sticky because this cheap product does not stick!

The media could not be loaded.  This cable organizer is designed to use in your car, but I got it to use at home. Where I sit in my favorite chair I often use digital devices, which have to be charged. The charging cables are plugged in behind the chair, so when not in use they just flop on the floor. I often struggle to get to them when needing to plug into a device. So, I stuck the magnet on the back of a wood file cabinet next to my chair. So far they are working pretty well. The base magnet seems to be holding.Cons: The little magnets that attach to the cable are quite a hassle to open and wrap around the cable. I was sure I was going to break the first one, but finally it came open. The second was just as difficult. You almost need a screwdriver or other narrow tool to pry them open. Once I got them connected they seem to be holding; but you will want to watch out that the holder does not slip down the cord--another hassle.The magnet base is only as wide as the four cable magnets fitting tightly next to each other, no room for comfortably placing them on the base. For now I am using just two of them, which work better for easy access and placement. and making my access to them easier.I honestly cannot imagine where in a car you would put this organizer that would not look messy, with cables hanging down, or would be convenient to retrieve the cables and/or sit neatly when not in use.For now, they are doing the job in my little apartment. The base is sticking to the wood back of my file cabinet. They hold the cables out of sight and are easy to access when needed.

Doesn’t stick and the magnets are worthless. Isn’t worth .50 cents.

I ordered this because it looked and sounded like a good idea. It turned out that the space for the cable works only for the smallest cables. The magnets are weak. They are so small that they can get attracted by the one next to them and flip. I am not a fan of this.
