I am a total product nut. I can’t get enough trendy skincare products and micellar water is one of my favs that I hopped on the bandwagon for. I’ve tried just about every variation of the Garnier micellar waters and this is my current obsession. I exfoliate the bejesus out of my skin because it makes my product absorb better and my skin regenerates better. It helps fight fine lines and wrinkles. I can’t say enough about the importance of exfoliating your skin and this gentle peeling micellar water does that too. I use this to exfoliate when I take my makeup off at night and cleanse before I go to bed. It works like a dream. Feels great. Gentle enough for sensible skin too. Put a little on a cotton pad and the way it works is it absorbs and then it evaporates which is amazing to me. But it does wonderful things for my skin. I highly recommend this or any of the garnier micellar products to anyone looking to upgrade their skincare routine.

I have super sensitive skin, but I've had no problem with this stuff. Also oh my god try running a cotton pad soaked in this across your neck or chest once, you'll be SHOOK. I had no idea how much dead skin I had accumulated @_@

I've used micellar water before but I didn't realize they had one that gently exfoliates. I always have dry skin around my mouth, eyes, cheeks and chin where there would be these little white things (they look like hair?) it was dry skin and oil on my face that no amount of scrubbing would get rid off without making my face red and irritated. I happened on this as I was looking for a powder exfoliant and for some reason this popped up (knowing good and well IT'S NOT A POWDER EXFOLIANT) I still bought it and thought if it didn't work I'll just buy something else. I don't need to! I do use a lot of this product as I use this twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed. The other reason is because I soak my reusable face rag with it even though I know I don't need to. I bought this product in December 2023 and I'm writing this review March 2024. I'm more than half way done with my second bottle and will be buying another two pack this month. I refuse to go back to a crusty face. I am a black (American) woman with combination skin and I deal with eczema. I also use this product with a soap bar cleanser (VALITIC Kojic Acid Dark Spot Remover - natural soap bars with turmeric) and a snail mucin based skin care set (Peach Slices Snail Rescue set) I hope this review helps!

I have very sensitive skin, and finding a makeup remover that doesn’t cause irritation has always been a challenge. Garnier’s Micellar Water is a game changer—it gently removes all my makeup, even waterproof products, without leaving my skin red, dry, or tight. It feels refreshing and soothing, and it never stings. My skin feels clean, calm, and comfortable after every use. I absolutely love it and will definitely keep repurchasing!

Really clears out my pores. I have big pores and oily skin, and this instantly clears. I blot it on, wipe it away and it’s as though I just used a pore clearing strip. Pulls sebaceous filaments right out, left on the pad behind, it’s crazy. My skin looks brighter and less red, as well. I use the 1% PHA + glycolic acid one.

PHA is suppose to be a much gentler exfoliant compared to my usual chemical exfoliants which I love but can't use right now. I shower before bed. But I have tret face, so in the morning I have to get in the shower and steam my face to get all the peelies off and it’s a pain. Both figuratively and literally, bc it takes quite a bit of rubbing to get them off. I can't use my usual chemical exfoliants to do this bc it burns and turns my face red. Today, I skipped the AM shower and just used this micellar water w a cotton pad. OMG, no pain, no burning and I was able to get the skin down to a smooth texture after a couple of minutes without any of the irritation and redness. My make up looks so much better...I've been a hideous even after rubbing my face in the shower and now I feel good about myself again.
