Swanson Dr. Langer's 16-Strain Probiotic with Prebiotic FOS for Gut Health

I’ve been using Swanson’s L. reuteri purchased on Amazon to make yogurt, and it works very well. The culture is reliable, and the yogurt comes out consistently good. Beyond that, I’ve noticed I feel more content and have a better sense of well-being since I started using this brand. I can’t say for sure if it’s the L. reuteri doing its job, but that’s how it feels to me. Easy to use, effective, and a brand I trust — I’ll keep buying this.

I had been struggling to get my GI tract functioning well after two rounds of antibiotics. I’ve had this issue in the past as well. I switched to this probiotic after running out of one I had previously tried, and I’m sticking with it. There’s no way to know how much of the “good stuff “ actually enters your gut, but I investigated the strains that this product has and it seems to be doing the trick. Fancy packaging doesn’t always equal a good product! Also, they were easy to swallow and have little taste. I’m likely to change for good and I would recommend it.

Helped my stomach problems! Gave this a good trial. I've been taking it for 60days and just ordered my second bottle. I've always had trouble with my stomach, especially when travelling. Gas, bloating, air on my stomach. I was taking a different probiotic with much higher CFU. I researched FOS, as that was the difference in this probiotic (Swanson Ultimate 16 Strain Probioticwith FOS)...seems this makes a big difference! I just returned from a week long vacation (travelling was always a problem) and had very little stomach problems other than a few episodes of hiccups. Takes about 2 weeks for it to really kick in, but I noticed some improvement in a couple days. I'm 77 years old and take only Pepcid AC (generic, non prescription) Try this probiotic, even if you've tried others...been a game changer for my stomach issues. Take consistently at about the same time each day..whatever works for you! Also, very reasonably priced.

I have been taking this for several years. Recently my doctor told me to cut back to just 2x per week and I believe it's a good overall probiotic.
