Right after I opened this and tried to connect it to my computer, I touched the "power" button (as one does). The button then disappeared inside/behind the screen somewhere. The button literally fell off of the side of the screen. The button fell inside the monitor somewhere. I read a review that said that the same thing happened to them; but this review said that once they plugged it into their computer, the screen turned itself on (so it was okay that the power button just disappeared and/or ran away??). Upon reading that, I assumed that I would have the same experience; i.e., after I connected this monitor to my laptop it would turn on automatically. Well, that did not happen. I even bought an adapter for the "display" port to make sure that, that wasn't the issue. Both the display and the touchscreen ports are connected to my laptop, and nothing has happened in the last 6 hours that I've had this "portable monitor" hooked up to my hp spectre 360 laptop. The screen is black. What a disappointment.************************update*** It's been 2 weeks. I bought an adapter, and have tried multiple cords, nothing is working. Screen is still black and now, after barely touching them, all of the buttons have fallen off. wow. what garbage. *********************

I have a server rack in my home office and need to troubleshoot startup issues occasionally. Instead of having to drag a full sized monitor over and plug it in, this is so easy.Each machine has a cable running either directly to an hdmi keystone or through a vga/dvi adapter to hdmi. I just take the usb power cable and plug it in, then run a short hdmi cable to the display.Text is easy to read on the screen, even with such a small size. No flickering or image instability.Haven't used it for for gaming but with my experience so far it would pair well with a pi or mini pc for emulation.The stand works well, and keeps the screen safe for storage. There is a tear away screen protector that I don't think it meant for long term use but I kept it on.No screen protectors are included but having a link to some that are certain to fit would be helpful!No complaints at all. Great screen if you have needs for a 10inch display.

It works for mirroring a lap top but the adjustment buttons on the side broke off and fell inside the first time I used it. You don’t really need the buttons for my application.

Good looking screen but the buttons feel like they are cheaply made, or not even mounted to anything stable. Upon first press the power button snapped inside. Not a problem as the screen turns on as soon as I plug it in. Then I started using the backlight buttons then those fell in as well. On top of constantly hearing the device connect and disconnect I just decided to return. The case is amazing the screen is nice but the buttons are the only issue and a major issue at that.

Needed a small second monitor to connect to my work laptop for travel (17” Dell Precision). Good size, decent image, but no matter what settings I used, the monitor itself kept beeping. Unusable, returned.

I wanted to like this monitor. The size was perfect for what I needed. Unfortunately there is too much of a blue tint to the screen. Not completely blue but any white background has a bluish color to it. Unfortunately I cannot stand it and there are no screen adjustments. You can only increase or decrease the brightness. There are no color adjustments at all. So the monitor has to be returned.
