Works a treat for wasps
Attracts wasps easily. Easy to make up the solution and leave it to do what it's meant to. If it's hot the solution will dry up and so the smell of that and dead wasps is pretty foul I.e empty it before this happens!

Very potent
VERY good sometimes far too good but does what it says, attracts flys from miles away

Works but beer works even better.
The main problem is that although it attracts wasps and hornets, after a few days the decomposing bodied attract a LOT of big blow-flies. Beer/cider seems to work a bit better but that may be the time of year (end August/early September) when the blasted bugs are after sugar. I suspect jam with some water will work too and will try that next.

Did not work for me
Did not work for me at all. After a week I had caught just one wasp even though the trap was only a foot away from the wasps entering and exiting the air vent where their nest was located. Took the top off the trap and laid it on the ground facing the exit - caught more wasps, but only because they flew into the jar by accident. Even placed the attractant in a dish and they flew right past!
